Casa Palmero Custom Winery

Come join us to participate in a unique experience in our vineyard in Valle de Uco. Casa Palmero planted its vineyards 35 years ago and is now famous for being the pioneers in the valley making varietal wines. The program starts early in the morning at dawn, when the grapes are still cool from the night. We will welcome you to the vineyards with coffee and tortitas caseras. While you enjoy breakfast, our expert will give you a technical talk about the vines before we start picking the grapes. Here, you can mingle with the cosechadores and learn from them how to delicately treat the vines and grape clusters. After we harvest, we´ll take a break and head to Casa Palmero’s main house, one of the most historic houses in the valley, to relax and enjoy a traditional Argentine asado prepared by our master cook and paired with the best wines from the area. You will also get to enjoy delicious salads and roasted veggies from our own organic garden. After lunch, we will head to our micro-crushing winery to start the molienda. Now, we get serious - during this full hands-on experience you will learn how to make premium wine and become a real winemaker. You will learn the entire winemaking process, from sorting clusters and berries to de-stemming and crushing to start the barrel fermentation process. After a full day of labor in our winery, we invite you to join us for some teatime to relax. This is the moment to reserve the cases you would like to purchase so you can taste your one-of-a-kind wine at home. Now is time to play –you can design your own label for the special wine you made. Once your personalized wine is ready and packed, we will ship it directly to your doorstep.LABELS E! - LABELS ENTERTAINMENTTake home your personalized case of premium wine with your own high quality lable. Creative experience guided by a recognized wine design studio where you will define the brand of your wine and design your own personal label.

Laureano Gomez Winemaker

Reviewed By RayJayJunior - Winchester, United Kingdom

Carla gave us a great tour of the LG Bodega today which we really enjoyed as it is a family-owned and operated business unlike the other BIG operations. The tour was less formal and more personalised. The highlight was chatting with Laureano himself and hearing about his vision to transition from a bodega employee to having his own successful company. It really was something different from the other bodega visits we've done and, to top it all off, the wines are terrific. The gran reserva pinot noir is spectacular! Thank you so much!

Bodega Monteviejo

New to the wine circuit, this vineyard at the foot of the Andes is quickly growing in popularity.

Wow. The best bodega that we visited (out of at least 10) in all of Mendoza. We had eaten dinner at 1884 in Mendoza and the somellier had recommended the fantastic red wine blend from this vineyard. The wine was so good that we decided to seek out the vineyard, and we’re glad we did. We booked lunch (four courses with generously poured & well selected wine pairings) and it was outstanding. The food was exquisite, the wine top notch (especially the red wine blend which is paired with the main course) and the service was excellent. Plus the view from the dining room is incredible. If you are in Valle de Uco, make sure you have lunch here!

We booked the tour and wine tasting the day before, we were lucky. Charlie our guide was lovely almost like a close friend who we could talk about anything, she explained everything perfectly and answered our questions with even more information for our trip. The tasting is enjoyable, we had so much fun, shared some laughs about our poory palate for wine. I highly recommend to have lunch there if you can, every step of the meal offers a different wine and you can refill as many times as you want (be carefull!). The only negative thing we found is that they dont have a strong vegetarian alternative, all the dishes are meatbased and the "alternative" wasn't on the menu, hope they see this review and make some changes. The best part is the view that joins you throughout the whole experience.

Creative menu and we really enjoyed all the fantastic wines we were able to try. We really appreciated how easy it was to book the lunch by email.

Bodega Piedra Negra

After searching extensively across several regions of Argentina, Francois Lurton planted his vines in the Uco Valley, in the foothills of the Andes Cordillera, at an altitude of 1,100 m, in semi-desert conditions. A pioneer of the Uco Valley, he built his winery, Bodega Piedra Negra, in the heart of 200 hectares of virgin land acquired in the middle of what, a few years later, would become the Geographical Indication of Los Chacayes. Visit our vineyard and learn about our organic philosophy over the course of a private guided tour. We offer a superb range of activities enabling you to learn about the wines and the terroir and explore the environment surrounding the Hacienda.
