Overbluff Cellars

We’ve stopped by here several times & have been favorably impressed on every visit. The red wines are very good & yes their prices reflect the good quality. The facility itself is an old cracker factory & has a rustic chic feel. All the tasting room staff are friendly & welcoming. The tasting pours are generous & the tasting fee of $10 very reasonable, the tasting fee is dropped when a bottle purchased. Overbluff Cellars is definitely recommenced by this reviewer especially if you’re a red wine fan.

Barrister Winery is located in downtown Spokane in a beautiful brick building built in 1906. Started by two attorneys in 2001, this winery is a must visit. With bold expressive Washington grapes and some careful aging, the wines prove to be some of the best in Washington. The building boasts 18' ceilings with 100 year old brick, original wood beams, and the original wood floor. The basement is full of over 650 barrels of aging Barrister red wine. In the summer the courtyard fills up with flowers and has a beautiful barrel wall, making this the perfect place for your next event. Open 12-5 daily for tastings. Our tasting hostess, Susan, was great; very personable and knowledgeable. We lucked out and we’re fortunate to have one of the owners, Greg, give us a personal Tour of the facility. It was very interesting. The wine was excellent. Prices are very reasonable. A GREAT value. Highly recommend!

We love Maryhill's wines and this wine tasting room near downtown Spokane was a pleasant 'surprise'. The flights I refer to are a selection of seven different wines, as opposed to three like I see in most wine rooms. We had super service and the view over the Spokane River from the porch just set the mood for a pleasant and rewarding experience while in Spokane. Made our afternoon special.
