We spent a fabulous week on Korcula with Zoran and his team. This really is a brilliant option for a family holiday - we had excursions every day and were always accompanied by experienced and knowledgable guides who went the extra mile to make sure we had the best time. We were apprehensive about travelling during the pandemic but any anxiety quickly went away and we didn't give it a moments thought until we flew back. Korcula really is a beautiful place and I couldn't recommend this holiday more highly - we'll be back.

Great afternoon of walking through olive and fog groves + vineyards with Rachael. I was the only person on the tour that day to travel slowdowns and so I received a personal tour from Rachael. Great tasting at two wineries and as you can see, I bought a bottle at each. (Although there was no pressure at all to do so.). Highly recommended.

My husband, two sons and me booked a one-week catamaran trip with Anchor and Wine in 2018 for our 20th anniversary. We knew we wanted to see Split and Dubrovnik but had no idea what else to see and do in Croatia. The owner Silvia was so kind and patient in explaining everything and creating our week, because we had no idea how it works. I had no idea my husband was secretly arranging with them small vows renewal for us in a Franciscan monastery near island Korcula. The most intimate and beautiful event on this trip. A local monk, my husband, sons and me. The old monestary decorated with tiny white flowers and a few candles. Thank you girls for organizing that, you did more than you know!

I've had the pleasure of doing 2 tours with these guys: the Dubrovnik city tour and the day trip to Montenegro. I have done my share of tours over the years, and I can honestly say these have been the most informative, well thought, entertaining and fun of them all. It is rare to find people born and raised in the old town of Dubrovnik and it is even more difficult to find people with the knowledge, passion and professionalism that Ivo and Stjepan bring to the table. I could have spent a week listening to the history of both Dubrovnik, Montenegro, Yugoslavia, etc and to all the anecdotes, facts and personal experiences. Truly outstanding. Thanks again for two fabulous days!

Discover the spells of the island of Korčula, one of the most beautiful islands in the Adriatic. Originally called Korkyra Melaina ( Black Korčula), it dates from the times of ancient Greeks. From its early beginnings it was the home of wine grape and wine production which have become an essential part of life and survival of inhabitants of Korčula. The Statute from 1214 ( the oldest written body of laws in this part of Europe) regulated wine growing, production and trade on the island. Korčulan wines were exported to Venice and they were regularly served on the Habsburg Court. Our excursion starts at the view point of Korčula, where you can take a couple of photos. The first vinyards we are going to visit are situated in Lumbarda and are famous for Grk, an autochtonous wine sort.. It is not known whether the name derives from the bitter taste or the old Greeks who settled Lumbarda in the fourth and the third century before Christ bringing their own wine sort.......

We took a walking historical tour of the old Town with the best guide ever, Nikola. He was intelligent and charming and able to bring the history of Dubrovnik to life for us. His family stories also illustrated modern life in Dubrovnik, which we found fascinating. Ask Andrea, who was great, for Nikola! You will not be disappointed.
