La liquoreria Essentiae nasce con lo scopo di produrre gli elisir salentini, mantenendo rigorosamente le tradizionali ricette e le antiche procedure osservate fin dai tempi più remoti.Assolutamente naturali, gli estratti sono preparati artigianalmente senza l’utilizzo di conservanti, coloranti ed additivi chimici.Il forte e resistente profumo, il gusto intenso ed inconfondibile ed il vivo colore sono dovuti all’esclusivo processo produttivo e soprattutto all’impiego di selezionati prodotti freschi.Per l’infusione sono utilizzati frutti di stagione non trattati, esclusivamente salentini, coltivati biologicamente e raccolti il giorno prima di essere messi in fusione.La pelatura degli agrumi viene effettuata manualmente.La stagionatura avviene al buio ed il filtraggio con panno di lino per caduta libera.Il tradizionale iter del processo produttivo rende gli elisir unici, genuini e di alta qualità.

Greco wine shop was born in 1978 from an idea of the parents of the current manager. It has always been characterized by the constant refinement of wines and quality products. From 2002 the activity takes place in the existing 1700s with stone vaults. The wine shop also has handmade beers, extra virgin olive oil, sparkling wines, champagne, distillates, rum and chocolate.

I visited this restaurant with my family. The food here is so delicious - there is an amazing selection of local dishes and pastas. I have a gluten allergy and all the allergens were clearly listed on the menu which was so helpful! The waiter matched the wines to the food and you could buy any of the wines in the shop next door. It is a hidden gem in the town - you must visit this restaurant!
