Getting its name from the medieval Duchy of Limburg (now split among Holland, Belgium and Germany and the birthplace of the infamously pungent Limburger cheese), Limburg is the Netherlands’ southernmost region. Many of the area’s best attractions are concentrated in the capital of Maastricht, but other sights include the 12th-century Valkenburg castle ruins, the 17th-century Eijsden castle, the 20th-century Glaspaleis (built next to a medieval church at Heerlen), and De Meinweg National Park.

We booked to visit online and had the best time. The park is small enough to get around and has some amazing rides. The queues were not too bad. The flume rose was an hour but Troy (the best ride in the park) had a queue of five minutes!! We went on all the rides and we all had a blast! We loved the bike ride and the indoor Toboggan one. Good value for money and a great day out that I would recommend to all families.

Absolutely brilliant and well worth the money Even on a very rainy Sunday it was brilliant enough to keep all the family entertained for 2-4 hours. Something may be hard for children to grasp but the staff are there to help explain and their English was great. A must even if your not a kid and so may fantastic photo opportunities
