The course opened my senses to how, complex, wonderful and plentiful the outdoors is. I was amazed by the amount of information and time to practice that was effectively conveyed in such a short amount of time. William the guide was impressively knowledgeable and passionate about nature and its craft, taught me the core skills of survival - shelter, water, fire, and food which has made me a bit more competent in taking care of my survival needs. After this course one will see the outdoors with new eyes – such as which plants you can eat and what trees can be turned into a fire kit while always keeping a deep and respectful relationship with nature. If you are ready to transform your experience with the outdoors, do it with True Nature Sweden

This outdoor tour, which starts at Gamla Stan Metro station, connects the history of Stockholm with modern Sweden. How is it possible that a small country in northern Europe is the home of the mobile phone, that our Royal Academies designate the winners of the world’s most prestigious prices in sciences and literature and that Swedish companies furnish (IKEA) and dresses (HM) the world? We will tell you the story of Sweden from the ice age to the Nobel Price, IKEA and Spotify. We will introduce you to the founding of Stockholm, the warrior kings of the 17th and 18th century, the inventors and industrialists of the 19th and 20th century and to the modern IT entrepreneurs of today. We will start our walk at Riddarholmen with a beautiful view of the lake Mälaren and the City Hall, a famous landmark of Stockholm and the place for the Noble Prices banquette. We will pass the House of Nobility, the Parliament building and the Royal Palace and end at Stortorget in Gamla Stan (Old town).

The favourite part of the tour was to know more about the “old Stockholm life” and to know more about the culture. The guide was top (5 stars) and he helped us with some restaurants to try the traditional food and to try the famous fika at 15pm!! I really recommend to the future visitors to do the private tour with these fantastic guides!
