We have just returned from another wonderful visit to Italy, this time the beautiful Sirmione. We wanted to be in Verona on Wednesday for the Elton John concert and we could only get flights to Venice for Tuesday. There are a few ways ti travel from Venice to Sirmione but we wanted a hassle free professional service to start our Italian break. My first contact with DMR was an email to Renzo who promptly replied with not only an extremely competitive price but lots of information of where to be and what to look for when we arrived in Venice airport which filled me with confidence from the start. Renzo collected us and was the perfect host making us feel very welcome and making the 1.5 hour journey feel effortless. Renzo then gave us a collection time for the return journey home where his colleague Fabio continued the friendly professional service back to Venice airport. I have no hesitation giving DMR full praise.. Well done guys!!

I highly recommend this tour it was a wonderful day! She responds back quickly and her English is very good. She is extremely knowledgeable about the area and Prosecco! Extremely kind and easy going! The price is very reasonable for everything the tour includes. We got a ton of Prosecco and small bites throughout the day. We also stopped along the way for sightseeing and seen some beautiful spots that would not otherwise been seen! I definitely suggest using this tour if your looking for a perfect stress free day drinking Prosecco! It is a very easy and cheap train ride from Venice!

What a fantastic experience! So much more than just an e-bike rental: you get curated routes, via an easy-to-use GPS system that hooks on to your bike, which takes you past places you would never see otherwise. We did the Palladian tour but, outside of Covid time, you can apparently do wine tours and all sorts of things that we will plan to do next year. But more generally, E-biking in this wonderful part of the world is the best way to see it. We happen to love Palladian architecture, so we felt very lucky to see his masterpieces throughout the countryside. But even if you just want to see a lot of beautiful country off the beaten track, this is the way to do it! and though we are not a sporty family, we got up mountains (and down them)! About the company: the service was great, bikes were totally easy to master, can’t say enough about it. Also you get to rent your bikes out of a Palladian villa. Unbelievable. Recommended!!

Very friendly and knowledgeable, Pietro took time (about 20 minutes) to explain his Prosecco when we showed up unannounced. Excellent Prosecco in the middle of the Cartizze region that competes very strongly with the multitude of other producers in the region. I've been visiting the area for over 30 years so I already have my favorites among the many I have tasted over the years. Pietro certainly knows what he is doing and I plan on many return visits. Driving up a long dirt road nestled between the grape vines sets a unique atmosphere that made for a better experience.

We had an absolutely wonderful trip with Venice Outdoor on Sept 20th 2019. The ‘sunset boat tour with prosecco’ was an experience we will never forget. We met our guide/captain as planned at the departure point - Campo dei Mori and I must admit I was initially apprehensive thinking maybe he would try to cram two or three tours into the evening but I needn’t have worried. This was a perfect trip, leisurely, fascinating in so many ways, absolutely brilliant and well worth the money especially given the bottle of Prosecco was included in the price and it would have cost almost as much for the trip as a 20 minute gondola ride on the Grand Canal. It wasn’t that late when we set off off but we did way more than I expected. We rode through some of the smaller canals to start with, visited the Arsenal, all the while the guide giving us fascinating insights into Venice, it’s architecture, history, culture, people, and the lagoon itself then we rode for what seemed like ages to a beautiful calm, silent part of the lagoon where birds waded in the marshes and we sat and drank the Prosecco and watched the sun set over the city in the silence. My natural skepticism through being ripped off a couple times in Venice was dispelled on this trip which was perfect in every way and absolutely magical. It was an experience never to be forgotten. We took so many pictures of the phases of the sunset. If you go take a jacket as it can get cool when the sun has gone down and there’s the journey back to the city afterwards.

9. The Red Cart Emblem of Carraresi

Palazzo Valmarana Braga, Corso Antonio Fogazzaro, 16, 36100 Vicenza VI, Italy Palladian Routes

Over time, the memory of the great noble families and their valiant deeds remains engraved: this tour tells of the powerful Paduan family of the Carraresi and the red cart. The tour begins in the enchanting Cittadella, where the fortified walls preserve the beauty of the city. Walking the ancient walls at a height of 45 feet is a journey through time. From the silent voyage on board the E-Boat, you can see the coat of arms painted on the tower of Porta Padova, the ancient access to the city. Riding the E-Bike, we continue towards the town of Castelfranco, an ancient port of call for trade. The streets of the town center share centuries of history and in the inn, lunch is served. In the Clock Tower, the red chariot in the vault is a historical reminder of the glorious past of the city. After the visit, we enjoy the Paco Bolasco Park where white statues adorn the enchanting lake of water lilies. Returning to Cittadella, it is time to enjoy an aperitif with a view of the ancient walls.

Inclusions: E-bike rental , Ticket for Cittadella Walls Tour, E-boat tour of the moat around the city walls., Lunch in a typical restaurant
