Great shuttle service. We used their private parking and transfer from their compound close to the trailhead. My only complaint is that the entrance/turnoff was not well marked with their tour name (maybe it was just us, but the sign had other things on it too, so we drove right past). :-) However... they provide a 'free' cold beer or soda upon pickup at the completion of the crossing. Man, that alone was worth the price! :-)

We booked a last-minute self-guided trip with Garth and he couldn't have been more helpful. He responded quickly and we had everything arranged within an hour of contacting him. He picked us up from our accommodation the next morning and drove us to the start of the Great Lake Trail. He gave us some valuable tips about the track, too. The bikes were good and we were provided with a tool kit as well. Once we were finished biking, we had a great lunch at the Tipsy Trout in Kinloch (a tip from Garth), and we just texted Garth to let him know he could come pick us up. It was great not having to be back by a certain time and enjoy the ride at our own leisure. Would highly recommend!

My Waka, Your Waka is an awesome transportation service and well priced! Steve is a friendly and respectful. He is punctual, drives responsible and is very knowledgeable of the surrounding area. His car is well kept, clean and allows for a very comfortable ride.

We have used Taupo Taxis a number of times during our stay. This morning we travelled into Taupo and I discovered later in the day that my phone was missing. I am visiting from Canada and heading to Australia; everything I need for my travels is on that phone. I reported it to the taxi dispatcher and an hour later the taxi driver, who has driven us on several occasions, pulled into the driveway. Disaster averted! Thank you, Taupo Taxis.

Used the service today to take us and pick us up from the Tongiraro Crossing, I left it late to book as wanted to make sure of the weather as realises trips can be cancelled last minute. The service was excellent from start to finish. Initial contact with Rose was excellent with the couple of queries I had and then our driver on the day Tony was an absolute delight. I would definitely use them again if in the area and good to support local businesses in the current climate.
