The tram operator Mike was so good and the information he was sharing all through the ride was very interesting. One has to pay for parking . It'll be good if we get a waiver for those who take the ride.

Ms. Carol is the best! She runs an honest service that will get you to where you need to be. Along the trip she provides great conversation and a ton of useful advice along with tips on the area. She knows the area very well and she knows almost everyone in town. Everyone in town also knows her. If you ask a local for a cab, this is the service they all recommend. There is no Uber or shuttle service to or from TYS. It is about an hour scenic drive and she has no problem taking you to the airport as long as you make plans ahead of time. She will even make a stop at a convenience store along the way if you need to pick up something for your day of travel. It should be common sense not to call last minute for a trip to the airport...all though I would not put it past her if she found a way to make it happen if you did. Just to be safe call at least a day ahead and make plans for a long trip. She is great on follow up and will call you to remind you and also call if she is running a few minutes late. The rates are more than fair. A few locals will tell you it is five dollars no matter where you go. That is not true. However, The rates she charges are honest and she will tell you ahead of time what it will be. I think in town the highest might be ten dollars. She charged me twenty once only because she had to pay park fees. The ride to the airport was eighty. Add on a tip to all of those of course. She is pretty quick on pick up. All though sometimes she may not be there right that minute. She is not a corporate fleet. She only has four vans. She is also a driver and the dispatcher. She is also the owner. Who is going to give you better guest service of a company than the owner? Nobody. If she is running behind she will let you know. If you are traveling to Gatlinburg put her number in your phone now and save it. Right now. I highly recommend Ms. Carol and her company. I imagine she might actually pick you up at TYS if need be. I wish I had known ahead of time. So consider this review your own hindsight ahead of your trip. My only complaint, now that I have been spoiled, is that there are not more like her in every city across the country.
