It is at an altitude of 1,868 m (6,128 ft) and is considered to be the most important location for tea production in Sri Lanka. We found Pragash at the train station of Nuwara Eliya and he gave us a lift to our hotel, on the way he offered us what seemed to be an amazing trip for the next day, waterfalls, tea plantations, tea factory, view points and even to go to climb ambuluwawa tower which was a must for me, he didn't let us down, the tour was exactly as he said and he's such a kind man, would recommend!

Thiru is a really lovely and friendly guy. Went with him to the Horton Plaines and to a tee facrory. He really makes a good deal and fair prices. I guess the cheapest you can get told me to owner of my guest house and i made the same expericance. So go for it and book with Thiru. I will do the same when i am back the next time????
