In the western part of Messinia where the Ionian sea embraces the shore of Peloponnese, we hike the hill of Palaiokastro, the famous beach of Voidokilia and the lagoon of Yalova the southernmost station of migratory birds between Europe and Africa. The area being integrated into the environmental program natura 2000 is the largest wetland in southern Greece and offers shelter to wild migrating birds, which we may have the opportunity to observe. Here lives the endangered African chameleon while numerous birds such as herons, kestrels, aegean seagulls, flamingos, ospreys, royal eagles and other migratory and endemic birds take shelter at this hospitable and safe environment.

A great 6-day-kayaking-tour. We had good and bad weather, however, the guides George, Ana and Norbert always found a perfect alternative, like pool-training for wet exit, eskimo roll, etc or an alternative tour. All guides had been very supportive in every way and never-ending-patience with the pool-training. All of us could improve our kayaking skills a tremendous lot. George has a lot of stories (including history) to tell. We were spoiled with picknicks on remote beaches and a choice of excellent accomodation. But most important - we had a lot of fun in that week. A real highlight. I will definitely go back for more paddling next year with Explore Messinia.

It was a great tour to the classical hotsots of Greece. Due to Corona on all visited sites were only a few tourists what I never had before. The hotels were at nice places in walking distance to the city center, so that we could enjoy Greece evening life easily. Our driver did a great job and had always interesting stories about ancient history and modern Greece to tell during our journey - thank you for this experience Yanis!

An excellent tour of fortresses in the Peloponnese which also took in many of the classical sites. Our guide Eric organised the tour, hotel airport transfers, and advised on other sights so we really had nothing to do but enjoy the experience. already looking forward to another trip with him again.

Also went out to Olympia, messene and the Diros caves with Aristoteleia. She was excellant and all the tours were VERY enjoyable. Would recommend paying a bit extra for the private tour and the flexibility it gives you. The extra notes that were provided for Olympia and Messene were great and very useful. Also very informative just to chat to someone about the local way of life etc. THANK YOU ARISTOTELEIA.

I can’t recommend these guys enough. Right away we felt welcome and in good hands. The bikes are top quality all round. All new models and well taken care of, something you really want to feel when you’re about to make a 2000+ kilometer trip through Greece. I will definitely come back and rent here again. We went to the feet of the Klimanjaro. We went down a mountain to the Klimanjaro waterfalls, it was really challenging and amazing. Hereafter we went on a coffee tour with the local people. We made our own coffee, it was really amazing. We also got local food, it was really good. The people were very kind and they really were open and friendly. If you go to Tanzania you should really visit the mochi people. They are really kind and the place is wonderful.
