Amazing holiday - well planned routes - excellent bikes and equipment. The accommodation was comfortable with saunas and good food. Cycling around the archipelago was simply fantastic and the route information included lots of places we would have missed on our own. Matti was so helpful - arranging the holiday at the last minute for us (during the pandemic) and he also drove us from Helsinki as the train line was out of service on our first day. I highly recommend booking through Happy e-bikers. It's a lovely way to see Finland.

East of Helsinki we have a lot of traditional farming landscapes but also dense protected forests. A lot of elks and deer roam here. Your e-bike tour starts with some excellent cycling along Helsinki Central Park forest tracks. Lake Tuusulanjärvi is renowned for its natural beauty and old artist villas. Cycle on quiet country roads and visit small towns. Porvoo Old Town is one of the best preserved wooden villages in Finland. Quench your thirst with some first-class craft beer from local breweries. Now that sounds like a great cycling holiday! Note: This tour was accepted into the “Finland100” -program, to celebrate Finland’s 100 years of independence in 2017.

I had 7 hours layover time in Helsinki on my way returning from Moscow to the States. This trip is a hidden gem for a great city tour to see highlights of Helsinki, including Helsinki Cathedral, Uspenski Cathedral, Esplanadi park and Kauppatori. The most memorable experience of my trip is attending Sunday morning service at Temppeliaukio Kirkko. Even though I can only stay for the first 15 mins due to my tight schedule, it is a wonderful experience to enjoy heavenly music in the church of the rock!!!

The places we visited were interesting. However, our tour guide, Irina, was cold, at times not knowledgeable and did not speak English that well and therefore, she was difficult, at times, to understand. For example, she spoke very softly and pronounced words with short vowels rather than with long vowels so you had to try to understand what word she was actually saying and somethimes you couldn't. She asked me if I had a problem with the headset, and I told her, "No, just your accent." There was not enough time at the market to see everything and grab a quick bite. She walked very fast and when my husband asked her to please slow down because I had a problem with my leg that just happened before the trip, she said she had to keep on schedule. Well even with having to wait for me to catch up to the group, we still got back on time so I don't know why she couln't have slowed down a drop so I could have walked with the group and heard everything that she was saying.
