Well almost - the weather was a little drizzly, but we decided to go for it anyway and so glad we did. Ended up doing a short walk from a drop off just before Furneaux and spent a nice afternoon there noshing some good food with a bottle of wine. Boat staff were super friendly and accommodating

From the moment we stepped onboard we were welcomed and looked after by Summer and Skipper. Lucky enough to see a seal devouring a large salmon, we also saw a large pod of dolphins and spent some time with them following the boat and putting on an aerial display, at no time did we feel that there was a schedule, rather plenty of time to experience what the sounds offered. Both staff were informative and genuinely keen for us to enjoy the day. The bread and dip was great and there were more mussels and clams than we could eat. The final treat was some excellent salmon ( not the one the seal was eating) expertly cooked by Skipper. Thank you for a lovely day.

We had perfect weather for our Sunday cruise, and some great kiwi banter from our crew, amongst facts about life out in the sounds. Stopped by a few bays to drop off some supplies. Highlight was probably stopping for (bring your own lunch) at the Wilson Bay farm. Interesting talk about life on a remote farm from the Foote's. The Captain's Daughter is a good pub for a drink afterward too.
