My daughter organised this trip for my Christmas present. We booked the tour at the last minute to make the most of the weather and other activities we wanted to do in the north. We were well accommodated, our guide was friendly, knowledgeable and patient. We really appreciated that the tour went ahead given the current climate for tourism. A great variety of venues on this tour.

Ross has been an awesome companion (yes, he was not just our driver and tour guide that arvo). He definitely knows what he is doing and it shows his passion and heart are put on to it. When I asked him about the history of one of the vineyards there (Marist), I was impressed about his knowledge of it. It made me even more curious since I found a link between that vineyard and the school I came from which was also started by the same Marist brothers. Love the personal touch with the cheese platter and wine in a hidden gem in Hawkes bay. If you're thinking of doing an activity while you are in Napier, definitely consider Ross and put it on your to do list. Thanks for the awesome time, Ross! =)

Me and my partner experienced our first wine tasting tour - we absolutely loved it. Phil makes for an entertaining tour guide. The scenery was perfect. We enjoyed many types of wine we didn't know we liked. It was also very educational. All in all, a great tour i recommend everyone does. It isn't too long or too short either.

Your trip includes a complementary chilled local beer or New Zealand wine along with some smoked local seafood. Every trip is different. Superb small group trip on The Phantom. Rick, Robin and Jack were great hosts with many stories to tell of their sailing adventures. We saw dolphins and it was great to actually sail with the motor off. The area is so full of history as well. Lunch was delicious and home baked, although with the number of hungry boys on board it was perhaps a little light. You can byo your own drinks if you like. Anyway, highly recommended and so much nicer than the bigger commercial operators. An awesome day out on a real yacht!

Vigilant is a beautiful traditional 42 ft Cutter rig yacht with a wineglass transom, teak decks, and a swamp kauri wooden interior. Enjoy an adventure away from the crowds of sightseers. Here, you can steer your own experience by helping the skipper at the helm, hoisting the sails or, if you prefer, just relaxing on deck while you journey from island to island. If you wish, you can swim on one of the beaches, snorkel and kayak. Comb the shores and walk around to see some great lookouts with panoramic views of the islands.

Awesome day out with Ntalie onboard Vigilant. Weather was a bit rough so she kept checking that everyong was ok. Also knows the area very well so we ended up in the right spot for some swimming without the big waves. Highly recommend going with Vigilant.
