We don’t often do a group tour but this one was outstanding.. the whole process was well organised from the pickup to drop off. The actual cruise took us the length of the river from dam to dam and the commentary from Lucas was very informative. He was obviously very knowledgeable on the flora and fauna. The cruise had hints of the shot over - boats are purpose built and he knew the river well. Stopped frequently to explain facts about the area and even served up the afternoon tea and got a boatload of travellers back in time for spectacular sunset shots Would highly recommend this tour even for independent travellers..

The tour will depart from Darwin Airport, where you prepare for some of the most phenomenal sights anywhere in the world. Firstly, fly out over outback Australia, including the Kimberley region and, most noteworthy, the scenic north west coastline. Upon arriving in Kununurra, the tour will head towards the renowned Bungle Bungles. These huge sandstone towers were molded by twenty million years of erosion and weathering. This all lead to the stunning, multi-coloured pillars we see today. Moreover, seeing them from the sky is an absolutely unbeatable experience, as only from there is it possible to understand the scale and unbelieveable beauty of the ranges. Afterwards, the tour will lead you to a lesser known spectacle of the Australian Outback. Following the winding gorges of the Ord River, the tour reaches its pinnacle. Of an almost unrivaled majesty, the stunning Lake Argyle sits dormant. Revel in the beauty of this colossal freshwater lake molded by the ancient landscape.

Total disaster. Arrived thismorning with my 22 year old son for trip of a lifetime. Trip promptly cancelled because no-one to greet us at the locked up Kookaburra Air starting point. Had to phone them to see what was happening. Got the weekend duty guy on phone. Think he was in bed. He knew nothing of our booked trip. He called his boss. He confirmed (after I had to call him back as was still in Uber clocking up the $$$) that his boss said “sorry” but they hadn’t received the booking from Viator/Trip advisor. Specifics: Booking was confirmed by email on 13/12 by Trip Advisor. $1780.00 taken from my visa for tour on 30/12. Booking reconfirmed yesterday by text with link to ticket. One day later - kookaburra Air knew naught? Don’t know who is responsible for the human and/or IT error. Regardless, we so so sadly missed out on what sounded like the trip of a lifetime. Cannot even try to do another day because of time constraints. We are so disappointed. Icing on cake. Trip Advisor/Viator have informed me they will not pay for the cost of my Uber to get to the “non-event”. I actually threw the Uber driver $30 cash in his window as he was leaving because he didn’t want to charge us for our trip back from Kookaburra Air to Darwin. On principal I will be chasing trip advisor/Viator down legally if they do not cough up the $31.00 Uber cost which they have said they will not cover.

It was a big decision to spend the money to do this tour, but it was so worth it. It was the highlight of our Broome Holiday. It starts with a fabulous seaplane flight over the coastline from Broome to the Horizontal falls. The sight of the Bucaneer Archipelago Islands is spectacular. Once you arrive at the pontoon you are quickly off in the high speed boat to the horizontal falls, the captain gives you plenty of opportunity to take photos and then you get multiple trips over the falls. The power of the engines and the skill of the driver makes you feel totally safe. Then it was a lovely lunch of fresh grilled barramundi and salads. The scenic boat road to Talbot Bay was beautiful and the rock formations need to be seen up close to believe. We had an absolutely fabulous day and very very impressed by what a fabulous operation it was.

Started this cruise with a lovely USA lady named Marina (all the way from Kodiak). What was our gain is Alaska and Kodiak loss. Although only 6 weeks into her role as skipper, she knew every rock or obstacle to steer clear of in the river ord. The whole cruise was fun and informative for our AATKings tour. I can’t recommend this highly enough. You have to do the late afternoon sunset cruise too, spectacular. Thanks Marina.

We enjoyed a relaxing and informative morning on Roebuck Bay. From the time we were picked up from our accommodation until we returned all the staff were caring and informative. We saw playful blue nosed dolphins, snub fin dolphins and a hammer head shark. The crew were very knowledgeable and we were aware that they were very respectful of the environment and in particular the marine life. Yummy refreshments were served during the cruise. Some people enjoyed the boom net at the back of the boat on the way back. I wish I had been brave enough.

This was not my first Rodeo with Broome and Around, after doing there 3 in 1 Town Tour and Croc park tour last Aug/Sept I knew this new tour would be an experience to remember and I wasn't disappointed. After a punctual pick up we went to Matso's where we were treated to amazing Japanese cuisine, a Beer tasting paddle and a run down of the history of Australia's most remote brewery. I was amazed at the amount of food we got here was expecting a snack but was well and truly satisfied post the meal. Then it was off to the Gin Distillery for a G&T and information about how the still operates. From here to the Sydney Cove Oyster Bar for a masterclass and tasting of their famous oysters, you have to try the Mojito oyster shooter here too sensational. Then we were treated to a viewing of Willie Creek Pearls show room and some great tips on how to keep your pearls in top condition and the opportunity to try on the merchandise. From here to Zanders Cable Beach where we had the Best table to watch the sunset, with a daquiri in hand. Candy Rod and team you have come up with a ripper tour truly ICONIC! Would highly recommend for the venues and the extraordinary knowledge that you impart on your passengers. Top Notch
