My daughter and I hiked Garden of the Gods with Hike for Life guide Mindy last month. It was an easy hike through gorgeous rock formations in west Colorado Springs. Mindy was very accommodating with our pace, since we had not yet acclimated to the altitude. She reviewed the 5 fundamentals of hiking before the hike, which, to me, was very valuable as I don't hike much in the wild. It was also interesting to hear about the history of the land, the rock formations, and flora and fauna. Mindy's thoughts on nutrition and wellness were also valuable. Mindy took photos as we hiked, and shared the album at the end. It was a great half day experience.
