There were so many individual elements to this tour, that I feel as though I should be leaving multiple reviews. Everyone connected to this experience was A+. Curado Tours does an excellent job of coordinating a really fun and informative and once-in-a-lifetime sort of day. From the moment we were picked up to the minute we were dropped off, the entire tour was above the bar in terms of professionalism. Everyone was so friendly and knowledgeable. The hot air balloon ride itself was amazing, as was our pilot. We expected it to be magical, and it was. They did not disappoint. But the meal that followed was delicious and was at a restaurant with a beautiful setting. Touring the pyramids, learning about past and present local culture, and finishing off with the basilica, it was all amazing. Thank you to everyone that is involved in organizing this tour. I would highly recommend it as I have a hard time imagining another tour company could top this.

My husband and I really enjoyed this show. I read such mixed reviews that I didn’t know if we should go, but I’m so glad we did. First and foremost, get your tickets from a reputable ticket agent. You get on a boat, but depending on where staying, there are two boats that leave from different marinas and different times. You can opt for premium service, but it’s not necessary. The evening starts with a boat ride, then you get off on an island, have dinner and watch a show. You can opt to have open bar, which is what most people do. The boat staff were great! Very friendly, funny and very accommodating. You are immediately served drinks, music is played, then the crew put on a funny dance exhibition. When you get off the boat, you walk for a bit to get to the dining areas. The walk is sandy and there are a few steeper steps, so I recommend wearing shoes to accommodate this. I had on flip flops with a good tread and had no issues, but if you are an unsteady walker, keep this in mind. The dinner was a buffet and was decent-don’t expect a gourmet meal. There were several things to choose from-salads, cheeses, beans, rice, roasted vegetables, fish, shrimp, chicken and beef. You won’t go hungry! It is not self serve, most likely due to covid. Dessert is included too. The show was very good. It’s a combination of singing, dancing and acrobatics and cool lighting, somewhat like Cirque de Soleil. Not quite at that level, but very good and very entertaining. My husband and I both really enjoyed it. The boat ride back was lots of fun. The boat staff (boat #5) put on a performance of their own, which was hilarious! I recommend this primarily for adults. There is nothing inappropriate for kids, but it’s pretty much a party boat. If you are looking for a fun excursion, I recommend it.
