Ski Resort Bukovel

Reviewed By Jimmy T

As my first venture onto a resort slopes only having practiced indoors in the UK I was a little nervous...but Bukovel was so easy...all the lifts were working....plenty of ski runs...of various levels...not the best sign posted and think the only criticism would be the apparent mad scramble at the bottom for the ski lifts which could be easily sorted with a few barriers to save the pushing and shoving. Skiers of all levels on the easier slopes and had no issues on any of the slopes in 14 days of skiing....English is not spoken by many residents or staff at the ski hire or hotels and restaurants but managed easy enough with a few basic phrases I had learned and translation app. If you want a good holiday on the slopes different from European resorts then I would recommend heading to Bukovel.....new year was fantastic at the restaurant museum.of football......over all a great holiday....couldn't fault anything really..

Ski Resort Dragobrat

Reviewed By Oleksiy_S67 - Lviv, Ukraine

Dragobrat is the best place for freeride and skitour in Ukraine. Backcountry skiing is exellent. Several Mountains including Bluznutsia, Zhandarms and Kotel are withing an hour backcountry rout. But beware - it is real high-altitude resort. So leaving groomed pistes is at your own risk. Consider avalanch possibilities and weather conditions that can change rapidly.

Petros Mountain

Reviewed By mnr2001 - Moscow, Russia

Really fabulous water focused area. We visited in summer when everything focused around the lake and sun & water were the goal. I understand it's also open in the winter for relaxation after a ski day. We found the lounge areas extensive and very enjoyable

Bridge - Viaduct

Reviewed By 771helen - Kiev, Ukraine

If you have 1-2 spare hours, it's a nice place to visit and to make some photos. There are several Bridges close by. The Bridges are quite old (something about 200 years), but still working! You can see trains going on top. The Bridges were built during Austrian time, using eggs to fix them.
