State run wildlife park whose wildlife is permanently injured, human dependent or had been raised in captivity; so cannot be released back into the wild.
Looking for something to do for an afternoon and don't want to spend a fortune, definitely check out Maine Wildlife Park. Its affordable, $7 for an adult and slightly less for children over 5. They are open rain or shine, and we decided to go on a rainy afternoon before shopping in nearby Freeport. There is a lot of walking, the park is spread out, but the animal exhibits are really neat. Where else are you going to see so many native animals in one spot? We especially enjoyed the cougars, such majestic cats that you wouldn't want to run into in the wild, so here is your chance to see one up and close.

Allagash Brewing Company is dedicated to crafting the best Belgian-inspired beers in the world. Best known for our flagship beer, Allagash White, we also enjoy aging beer in oak barrels (beginning with the launch of Curieux in 2004) and spontaneously fermented beers (beginning with our traditional Coolship in 2007). Come up and visit us – we’d love to show you around.
I booked this tour for six of us because I knew we would have a Sunday afternoon to kill in a cold Portland in February. Now I dont drink but I would say this was a thoroughly enjoyable and interesting tour. All very friendly too. Well recommended, we may just go back next year.

The wait staff is very friendly. The menue is pub fare and most of the choices are very good. The Nacho's are awesome! Best part is the cold beer! My wife and I come here twice a month just to relax in the comfortable chairs and watch a movie.

We spent valentine's day weekend here, thinking that we will relive some of our fun childhood memories of tubing/sledding. As adults we definitely did not expect the hill to be so high and have SO MUCH FUN!
the two hours was very fair, after two hours we were exhausted! Definitely a repeat!

I love Hackers Hill and would give it 5 stars, but the gates are closed for some unknown reason on Tuesdays and Thursdays. The hike up is too much for many people.

My husband and I made a trip up river during an anniversary weekend. We chose a tandem kayak to enjoy the experience more and it was lovely! We had a leisurely trip up river guided by a heron who flew ahead around each bend. We...MoreThanks for the kind words! We're glad you enjoyed your day! (except the mosquitos part). The heron that lives on the stream and makes an appearance just about every time someone paddles by. He is my favorite creature on Panther Run! Bill

Excellent experience here. Bill was a fantastic range safety officer and really helped us out. Matt and Rob were also very helpful and extremely friendly. Prices are very reasonable Would highly recommend this range to anyone who wants to shoot.

My daughter had a coupon that's the ONLY reason she chose to return to Summitt Adventures. My opinion: extremely over priced at $28 on Saturday & Sunday! The.kids working there were pleasant on the positive side. On the negative side: it wasn't the cleanest place and the activity equipment was dumpy and dirty. Parents must be desperate to shake off that cabin fever after the long cold, snowy winter to take their children there.
