Our 4 year old grandson was in the ski school initially for 3 days. this got him to the stage of being able to plough and control his speed downhill. After paying for an extra days tuition we were glad as the ski school had an awards ceremony for the young ones and medals were given out along with a photo of them participating in the race at the end of the course. The staff have the patience of a Saint dealing with these youngsters and being able to coach them to excellent standards in such a short time.

Enjoyed our visit, lovely welcoming lady guide who gave us English guide leaflet. Warm in one room with the stove! Other rooms typically furnished as old farm , smoke room, kitchen etc. Enjoyed looking at old photos of the people and how Niederau looked years ago, before the skiers came. Free with your bus card.

Beautiful and peaceful. without doubt worth a visit, not much in niederau except the skiing and great ski school. This is a peaceful place and around the ski season a beautiful place to go say a prayer for 5 minutes after dinner.

The Cave is a Niederau institution - now celebrating it's 50th Birthday! Underneath the Hotel Staffler in the centre of the Village it offers Sports, Chill Out and Dance bars and live music most nights. Open every evening there is no entry charge and pub prices for drinks and a fantastic atmosphere.
