Osprey Sea Kayak Adventures

Reviewed By Travelingover50 - Sandwich, United States

I booked this as part of an anniversary tour in this area with my husband. We kayak on sit inside around lakes and ponds but, wanted to try something new. We were originally suppose to kayak on the Slocums river but ended up doing the east branch of the Westport river instead do to scheduling issues. It was still a beautiful tour? Our guide was knowledgeable and professional! We were using sit in kayaks and I expressed my concern about tipping. Our guide walked us through getting in and out of the boats, how to adjust foot pegs and seat backs. It was an easy paddle and our guide was full of information about the wildlife and islands here. We stopped on one of the smaller islands and had snacks and water. Did a bit of photo opping and treasure hunting! It was a very well run outfit! All the staff we met were knowledgeable, helpful and friendly! We enjoyed our time with them immensely! We can’t wait to come back!

Westport Rivers Vineyard & Winery

Reviewed By smfairbanks - Warwick, United States

Westport Rivers is one of my top three favorite vineyards in New England. The wonderful wine aside, the family, staff and property are magical. As soon as I turn down the drive my stress dissipates and a smile appears on my face. They have food trucks there on the weekends; a summer concert series on Friday nights and plenty of unique and fun events centered around their wine and understanding how they make it.
