We went out to see a current-run movie at this theater this past weekend. The theater was nice and clean and did offer the newly-in-fashion recliner seats. The parking lot was also large enough to handle all cars, and everything else (except the price of the food-and-drink at the concession stand) worked well. They have online ticket sales as well, so I could not think of a single improvement to recommend. This is a great theater.

Wickham Farms has been on Route 250 in Penfield for nearly 30 years offering kiddie train rides, a jumping pillow, mini-golf, batting cages, food, and ice cream. Enjoy their corn maze, hayrides, Mums and 7 different kinds of heirloom & specialty pumpkins in the Fall. They host birthday parties, field trips, story times, and annual events as well as a Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) program. The farm is open Spring through October.

I brought my granddaughter here during October pumpkin picking season. It was very busy as expected on a pleasant Saturday. They do offer lots of different activities - corn maze, jumping pillow, little train ride, apple picking, sunflower picking, food.
My granddaughter loves the jumping pillow but no way would I allow a young child to jump on that without an adult. It's really surprising that kids aren't getting hurt. Just as it sounds, it is a large inflated rubbery pillow thing that one jumps on. It is not supervised and kids of all sizes and ages are having a free-for-all time. Some kids get out of control with their jumping. Some lose their balance and tumble down the sloping sides to the hard packed sandy surface. It was too wild for my comfort.
We tried the fried apple slices. They are slices dunked in what tasted like a donut batter of some kind and deep fried. They were very good.
I'm sure the website lists all the activities available at Wickham Farms. It has really grown over the years. Maybe a little too much.

I love living within walking distance of the historic Erie Canal in the village of Fairport. The path along the canal is great for walking or cycling. The path is paved and well lit at night. Enjoyable to walk the path anytime of year. An added bonus is the variety of restaurants and shops in close proximity to the canal.

We really enjoyed the all you could eat buttermilk pancakes. We got sausage and coffee too all for around $10 a person. The other highlight was the store which sold maple syrup obviously and maple syrup granola, cotton candy and all kinds of other stuff. Great family experience!!!

Picnic, fish, hike, party, and mostly Photograph! We have been there, in out, frozen and fried for zillions of visits since 1972. The Park is over 500 acres and begins about 1/4 mile from our house, and continues thru forests, bogs, creeks, sledding hills, a public camping area, and ends at the shore for spectacular sunrises and sunsets all year. Several kinds of shelters .. collect rocks, minnows, crayfish, play in open meadows, fish the creek or pier, and take your camera !! I have lots of pics, but don't see where to add them

Whether you go solo or with a group, Painting with a Twist is great fun. Experienced or not, you have the opportunity to complete a painting in one visit...and you can bring wine and snacks to enjoy during your session. This organization will also block out a time for a private party of 10 or more participants. Cost which includes instruction and all materials needed is very reasonable. Give it a try!
They can also host a children's party (no wine permitted)!

Local individuals opened this business and it has become a very popular meeting place. Their craft selections are excellent and now that the kitchen is open there is even more reason to visit. Very friendly atmosphere with tables and chairs or leather sofas to retreat to if the bar is not your style. Be sure to ask about the fireplace history!

This park offers a paved trail around two lovely ponds which are good for walking, jogging or bicycling. There are fitness stations at intervals along the trail which are fun to do. It connects to the longer Hojack trail which is part of Webster's fantastic trail system. It also connects to the bike trail which runs along route 104. There is a good restroom at one end of the park also.
When we were there the goose poop was all over the pavement. I imagine this is difficult to keep cleaned up. They should look into managing this though.

Visit Schutts for the best apple cider and freshly made fried cakes you will ever taste ! Varieties of apples are home grown in their own orchards, the other baked goods, cheeses, and gourmet treats are wonderful. I like to shop there for unique gift items for friends and children. Don't forget to stop and say hello to resident rabbit Webster!
