This remains a hidden gem in the mountains. The performances are superb. The actors are good enough to be on Broadway. We are so lucky to have this cultural experience in our midst.

One annoying issue needs to be addressed. The headphones for the hard of hearing, have a bright red light directly on the top center. Sitting behind someone using this device makes it hard to stay focused on the performance as the users quite innocently move there heads around and it reminds me of following the bouncing ball! Surely these can be exchanged for something far less obtrusive and distracting. We had three folks directly in front of us, each wearing the same hearing aid system. Please???

Thanks.

Sutton and Son's Antiques

First off... I am no expert, but when I searched for Waynesville, NC antiques store and this one came up I was surprised. It is miles away from the little downtown of Waynesville. Seems like it should say Maggie Valley.

The inside of the building is interesting. Apparently lots of booths. Hard to get answers from folks there. Prices seemed high. I don't like looking through mess to find something and that's how it felt here.

But the outside. Looks like Sanford and son!

The Mahogany House Art Gallery & Studios

Reviewed By busielady1 - Biloxi, Mississippi

The artists were working while we were there. Watched an artist work on canvas. There was another artist who had been commissioned to paint a portrait of a beautiful estate from a picture. It was magnificent. I would have loved to purchase something here but nothing in my price range. The artists were very kind and answered all our questions. We enjoyed visiting the downtown shops on this rainy day.

Love Lane Flower Farm

Reviewed By Chelsea S - Knoxville, Tennessee, United States

My then fiance and I were in the midst of stressful wedding planning when we decided to take a break and do some exploring. For the wedding we new we wanted a bohemian, whimsical look for out floral but at the time all we really wanted was a break from thinking about all the details. We headed to Love Lane Flower Farm for a little pre-wedding trip and I couldn't be happier that we stumbled upon this gem! We spent the afternoon wandering through the most magical rows of flowers, taking pictures, and preparing beautiful arrangements for friends and family. What started as an escape from wedding planning turned into one of the most fun dates ever! Ultimately we spoke with owners, Lauren and Blair and ended up with beautiful Love Lane Flower Farm blooms at our Bohemian, riverside wedding. While they don't usually do events, I do know they offer u-pic flowers and cut flowers for florists to use for events. Regardless of the wedding, my now husband and I have a new favorite summer / fall activity of escaping to the farm for flower therapy when things get a little stressful. I absolutely love Love Lane and hope you will too!
