The Robert Taylor Museum Of Worldwide Arms

Reviewed By PamW296

It was a hot afternoon last Tuesday in mid March and 4 of us visitors to Vung Tau (just to Chill for a couple of weeks) decided to visit Robert Taylor's Musueum of Worldwide Arms. 4 of us were blown away by this amazing collection of Military Uniforms, Memorabilia and Facts dating back centuries. The buildings were immaculately kept and airconditioned to maintain the integrity of the uniforms. 3 different buildings full of amazing weapons and uniforms even those of the Australians fighting in the Vietnam war 50 years ago. Highly recommended to see this private collection here in Vietnam.

This is the statue of mother marry. The rise of the Christian cross on the mountain top. Along the way met the 15 Biblical scenes the way of Jesus Christ. Lifting heavy, but it is worth it. Types from the top are excellent. I recommend to visit early in the morning before the heat or in the evening under the sun can throw a couple of liters of water with you.

Every time I come down to Vung Tau, I climb the 811 stairs. If you want to visit inside the statue, don't wear a singlet (men or women). Obviously, the various views are wonderful and make up for the hard work climbing!

Upside Down House

Since long ago, people always try to solve problem by the same way: beginning-ending. That procedure only brings little improvement. So we take a step backward, turn it upside down to approach them, freshly. Thus Upside Down House wants to share with you the different angle of daily items to you. Besides the imaginetastic experience, you will be able to browse our gift shop and enjoy local drinks.

I went to Ho May Park with low expectations and was pleasantly surprised. It's really random! 400,000 for a ticket which included the cable car up and down and all the attractions inside. The zipling is decent, the rollercoaster is hilarious, you steer it yourself, also loads of ostrich's! It's quite nice just to walk around too, a nice park! Good way to spend 3hours in Vung Tau!

This was definitely a worthwile excursion! The walk was a nice powerwalk, but with better view than the hike to the Jesus statue. Well at the top there is a wide square for viewing the city and the sea side in all directions. Great spot for watching the sunset. And the walk back down is lit, so no need to worry about darkness. Also, sweet restaurant on the way and easy to get a Grab, if you prefer.
