Mavericks Stadium

Reviewed By craigclark - Columbus, Ohio

I knew that over the upcoming couple of week of work travel this would be the only chance that I would get to see the Mavericks play at home. I made the 40 or so minute drive up from my hotel in Rancho Cucamonga, with a few stops on the way, and got there early enough to watch some batting practice from outside the stadium.

Tickets were fairly inexpensive, I paid $10 for front row behind the Mavericks dugout, other tickets were $8, I believe.

It was a beautiful Friday night, too bad more people weren't there. I hope the attendance picks up for them. Plenty of action on the field in between innings. The mascot was pretty visible for the kids and other fans. Food was reasonably priced.

I really liked that this stadium didn't have too much netting as a lot of minor league parks are starting to do now. In some places the netting extends well beyond the dugout and at another stadium that I went to this trip, the netting extends around the field

Great place for the whole family! Also they now serve adult beverages. Theaters are clean and the seats recline and are very comfortable. There is plenty of room in the isle so even if you have your seat reclined, there is still plenty of room for others to pass without having to move your seat, stand or get your legs squished.
They also support the movie pass.

Played these 3 nines many times and invariably liked them and their condition! This review is about the nice time I had playing this course in mid winter! Great greens for the time of year! Pretty quick, consistent and held all my shots (even a 5 iron) Tees were just OK, and the DORMENT GRASS fairways were pretty good! Nice staff and (at least that day) great weather too!

I even used to manage at this mall for many years but there is no growth..extreme over pricing for things like Santa and Easter Bunny visits with photos. No security teams keeping watch. The variety of stores is terrible. But on the high side you have fabulous store who treat the customers great such as Barnes and Nobel, JCPenny and Hot Topic even Sees Candies is great but do to higher prices is low on clients. Red Robin's is the best place to eat there and the local movie theatre is terrific.

If you want to cool off in the Inland Empire on a summer day, see a movie here. Nice multi-plex. Great for the kids with the arcade and all you want to eat while watching a movie at the snack bar. They even have STARBUCK'S coffee. Saw 'STAR TRECK' in 3D! Loved it!!! Comfortable and clean! Not a bad seat in the theater! Average price. In the Victor Valley Mall. Plenty of parking. Near the 15 Freeway. On the way to Las Vegas. Relax and enjoy!

Mojave Narrows Regional Park Camping

Some 1,500 species of watchable wildlife call this lush stretch of habitat along the Mojave River home, making it a magnet for bird-watchers, horseback riders and campers. The park’s two lakes not only attract migratory birds but also make it a popular fishing spot. You can bring your own mount or rent horses and ponies from the on-site stables.Mojave Narrows’ flat, open terrain includes pastures surrounded by cottonwood and willow trees. The park, located in the Victor Valley area, boasts lots of activities for visitors. Facilities include group and RV campsites ( some with lake views), a playground, waterpark, picnic shelters and hiking trails. A low ropes course is also planned.

If you don't mind waiting for just a short time to see movies, most end up here, a short time after they've been initially released, for really cheap! It's not the fanciest place but it's not bad either. Take your own water/drink and snack and it's REALLY cheap!!! Decent place to enjoy the movies on the big screen!

An inexpensive 18-hole golf course.

Reviewed By Douglas C - Irvine, California

It is what it is. Most of the time the course is fun to play on. There is hardly anyone there so the pace of play is great. Greens are big, fairways are big, and when the wind isn't blowing it can be a really nice course. Not a big fan of the trailer park setting on holes 3 through 6 but cant blame anyone that is alive about that as the City council in the 60's had no vision at all. Club house closes early for some unknown reason too. Cant believe in the middle of summer the bar was closed at 6 PM....I hope that changed.
