This was one of the best Beaches I have been to in Japan so far, sand was white and the water was beautiful and clear, a little bit cold even in July.
there were also many Beach houses to buy food and they let you shower for a fee but theres no need because there are public toilets and showers as well.
Driving there is most convenient though as public transport was a bit far. Parking was just 500yen for the whole day

千葉厄除け不動尊の境内内に建立されています。

みどころが沢山あり、思いのほか参拝には時間もかかります。
楽しくお参り出来ます。
千葉駅、東金駅から路線バスも出ていてバス停からも近いです。マイカーの方もとっても広い駐車場が無料です。

Opened in November 2010, this museum features realistic paintings which looks like almost photos. The building itself has very extraordinary shape and the inside is very spacious and
we can walk down along the pictures such as flowers or beautiful ladies. There is no glass
over the paintings so that we can see the surface of them directly.It is far away from Tokyo and
not so many people. Only courageous foreigners should go there and you would not regret it.
The nearest Jr Station is Toke from where you take a taxi or a bus or walk.
I took a bus to go there and walk back to the station.

Nice, quiet, large beach, warm sea: we could swim in October, no gely-fishes at that moment, but better to check ("kurage arimasu ka?" in Japanese).
Easy to park, there are toilets with free showers outside. In the sea, there is a wave breaker along the coast, in order to keep the kids safe in this area. No konbini on the beach, but a restaurant and several konbinis on the way to come.
Can easily fly kites and boomerang. There is a place to play beach volley.
We appreciated.

九十九里の片貝海岸の近く、ちょっとだけ内陸に入ったところにあります。ハーブ園の他に、食事やおやつをいただけるレストランもあります。ハーブショップでの買い物もできますので、ハーブ園やレストランに入らなくでも利用価値ありです。

成東城跡でもある丘の中腹に朱塗りの懸崖造りのお堂があります。高さはたいしたことないのですが、階段がけっこう急なので、特に下りでは滑らないように注意。お堂からは展望が良いですが、海は見えませんでした。かつてはお堂の下まで海だったなど到底信じられません。

白里中学を目印に田んぼのあぜ道を進むと目的の寺院がありました。場所はかなり分かりにくいので覚悟して訪問してください。ご住職は尼僧の方で、私が見学していると親切に声をかけて下さり、本堂内でご本尊を拝ませて頂きました。布教活動のイベントもあるようで、瞑想の体験会を実施しているとのことでした。
