Was able to park and walk onto the bobsled run area while the Swiss championships were underway. Very cool to see this sport up close and personal. Was able to go to the start line as well a bit later. Didn't splurge for the ride down with two professionals however as that was quite pricy.

Popular easy walking route from either St. Moritz, Celerina or Pontresina to the lake of Staz in winter, summer and autumn. In summer, you can swim in the lake. The nearby restaurant is a hot spot during the whole year with an outside terrasse and an inside restaurant. In summer, you can rent a sun chair but the price is much too high, 90 swiss francs for the day (none of loungers was occupied when we were there).

The Water Trail is perfect for families, there is the Via Gastronomica for gourmets, and the Panoramic Trail for lovers of breathtaking views. A classic walk is the Hahnensee trail from Corvatsch to St. Moritz. Corvatsch, the sports mountain (Glacier) ski slopes, a snow park, freeriding areas, permanent snowshoe trails: Corvatsch has them all. The winter sports area extends from Sils via Silvaplana all the way to St. Moritz. Its altitude and the north-facing slopes mean that snow conditions are perfect from mid-November to early May. The cable car station at 3303 m above sea level is the highest in Graubünden and has stunning panoramic views.

I spent 6 weeks skiing through Switzerland and France in December and January the polenta and fig soup at 3303 was a knock out ! One of the best dishes of the trip ! Well worth going to this restaurant a highlight for many reasons !

When skiing in the area, certainty go up Piz Nair, enjoy the view and have fun on the slope down. One of the nicest trips to make.

The path around this beautiful lake make it an easy walk. It took me about an hour to walk round it. You get lovely views of the mountains all round, as well as of the town.

Horse racing on ice ... unique event, wonderful experience. When in St. Moritz during one of the dates the White Turf takes place, go and have a look. Watching the event is rather expensive, but when you just want to have a look, you can watch for free from a bit more of a distance.

A phenomenal leaning tower across the street from the Kulm Hotel. It is now braced with Swiss engineering, so there is no danger of falling, although it looks as if it might collapse any moment.
