Stuibenfaelle

Reviewed By Travelbugsbitten - Melbourne, Australia

The stuibenfall is a beautiful waterfall with masses of water gushing over the rocks and down a very long fall. But the waterfall is only part of the attraction. At the top, bottom and down the entire length of the fall is a series of viewing platforms and steel staircases that take you from the top to the bottom or vice versa. An amazing feat of engineering! This free attraction is well worth a visit.

Kaunertaler Gletscher

Reviewed By Qamer_Zia - Frankfurt, Germany

Great experience. Lovely drive with great views. Gepatsch dam is on the way, nice place to have a short stop. Road around is bit narrow and not perfectly paved. It takes amazing turns after passing the dam area and driving further up the mountain. There are many lovely points for a short stop. At the glacier there is a nicely made playing area for the children and at a 20 minutes walk there is the glacier cave (worth going there). Cable car takes you to the Karlsjoch top (3108m) where Italy and Austria share the border. Views up there are great. Parking at the base ise free. Wonderful area for a full day visit.

Returning customer to the Aqua Dome, year after year I see increasing issues with poor maintenance and overcrowding...broken lockers, broken hairdryer, poor customer service.
Will not advise visiting in the evening in winter...
Aqua Dome managing team...get a grip...
Either raise standard for everyone and not only for the hotel exclusive area or close to the general public...

If you visit Oetstal area don't miss this beautiful lake! Easy access- Few minutes from the road, parking for 4 euros (coins only!), 5 minutes walk and there you are facing the beautiful lake. Highly recommended to walk around it. There's also a restaurant and a small beach.
If you go from the right side you can reach the restaurant even with a baby stroller.
We had a beautiful calming nature morning there...

Gaislachkoglbahn

Reviewed By Aquilegia_blue - Beverley, United Kingdom

We enjoyed the two cable car rides to reach the top of Gaislachkogl. Once there, we spent no more than 45 minutes enjoying the views, then returned to the middle station where there were far greater opportunities for walking. We took advantage of our Otztal card to pay for this this cable car ride - the rates without a card (37 euros per adult) were far too expensive for us to have considered the trip otherwise.
In all, I would recommend the Gaislachkoglbahn on a fine day to appreciate the views but would not consider it a 'must-do' activity if costs are an issue.

Gletscherpark Fendels

Reviewed By Laurent-viking - Essonne, France

This resort caters for families with young children. Lift operators are helpful and friendly. Ski school instructors are good with children. Restaurants cater for children and some even have microwave ovens and games cupboards. The runs down to Fiss village are fantastic. Some runs around Serfaus are very steep, so try them first before taking your young children down them. The accent by car to the village is steep and there are a number of sharp turn.
