Not too many up and down! on such a hot day it is nice to visit a more flat town. Charming with the usual restaurants and shops. It would be a nice place to stay.

Volsonis

Volsonis is one of the most intriguing places on the Croatian coast to enjoy a nice evening with your friends in an ancient roman ruin in the heart of the little town of Krk. Enjoying your beer or cocktail with lots of friendly people, while listening to live music between the trees and candles of our secret Garden - is definitely worth feeling!

Reviewed By Miha P - Maribor, Slovenia

Volsonis is a day restaurant/pizza house and bar, archeological place and popular gathering place in the evening. First and foremost it is a restaurant. They don’t try to have the best pizzas. Food is correct sometimes they put even too many different ingredients. It is not a slow food gourmand restaurant. It is eat and go place. Very popular for young generation – they don’t care for old stones and walls, just to get good company and enough drinks with fast service.

Been in Baška with 4 more friends and got bored one day. We were looking for something fun to do. Our decision for zip line was the right one, really fun afternoon, great get-away day from the turists-full-beach. Also the crew was really friendly and nice! :D

Submalin d.o.o.

Reviewed By JanNeznan - Ljubljana, Slovenia

I was in Malinska and just realised i wanted to do a dive , so i didnt have any of my equipment with me.
I called submalin and scheduled a dive for the next day with and rented all equipment from them.
They were friendly and well organised. They took me and some other people to a nice dive site with a boat. We saw a huge octopus, and plenty of fishes.
The only not so good thing is that i am only OWD and they sent me down and my buddy with just a briefing, no dive master (stayed on the boat) and only with pressure gauge ( no depth meter or computer - as i said i wanted to rent the equipment from them and thats what i got) .
Since i got some experience we managed to navigate alone and i checked the depth at my buddies meter, but if a bit more inexperienced diver was in my place, it could have been a really dangerous adventure.
So, if you have a lot of experience, its a good place to go, but newbies should look elswere.

The Narrowest Street in the World

Reviewed By Mira V - Smarje Pri Jelsah, Slovenia

Quite an experience. The street is really awfully narrow, though I am not so sure about the record. Some other towns or cities also want to have the narrowest street in the world. (I was in Brasow, Rumania, some time ago, and they have one there). Nevertheless, do not miss this street if you visit Vrbnik.

We had a lovely on the boat to Krk. We had snacks and soft drinks in the morning on the boat. Then lunch in a lovely little restaurant on the island (included). We had a lovely walk round Krk then off to Beli where we had a lovely swim. Ideal for scuba diving. We then went back to the boat for lovely fruits and soft drinks. The crew were lovely playing the accordion and singing. Beautiful scenery most of the way. The only downside was we found the trip in the boat a bit long. Its 2 hrs each way fro Opatjia. The tour starts at 8.30am till 6.30pm. Great Value at 299 KN

Sailing Experience Daily Sailing Trips Rent a Sailing Boat Sailing With Instructor Skipper Training Sailing Courses Project Traditional Sailing

Reviewed By seanandcorinned - Lyon, France

This is the only sailing school in North Croatia, established only 3 years ago. NAS rents paddles, bikes and organises sailing courses for all levels up to skipper training.
Located in the pretty town of Punat, state -of- the- art marina, beautiful bay and surrroundings.
The owner, Marko, is a very experienced skipper and will do his best to adapt to your needs / timings..
We went sailing during 2 days with Marko; 1st half day on smaller sailing boat, which was great to remind ourselves of the technique,
2nd day on the larger, beautifull sailing boat, better for cruising.
We really enjoyed these outings thanks to Marko's patience and good advices and really hope to come back for a longer course ( hopefully with more wind!)

The best sunset on Long island!!!

Reviewed By Martina K

I was there last summer and I would like to come back, because I was impressed by cocktails- high quality, best cocktails on Dugi Otok. There is no better spot on island to watch sunset- drinking cocktail, quiet music, sound waves- very relaxing.
Also, they have great coffe and service. Service will do everything to make you happy and comfortable.
