A beautiful lake to see. Especially in summer. The lake is very clean. Possible to go swimming when its hot. The other half of the lake is closed off because of the swimming pool. Which has access to the lake. Great place for toddler and children to run around. Theres a little food stall there that serves a lot of Italian bites, including your typical fries and beers. Otherwise theres a restaurant nearby. Its usually packed on sundays all through out summer and first weeks of Autumn. Great place to cool down during the hot days

The Regional Nature Park Pfyn-Finges is located in Central Valais between Gampel and Sierre at an altitude of 500 to 4100 metres. Nowhere else in the Alps are there so many impressive, world-famous peaks of over 4000 metres than in the Valais. The Park is named after the Pfynwald natural reserve and Finges is French for Pfyn, meaning pine.

We took a trail through the forest from near to Leuk and came across some lovely lakes and footpaths on the way to Sierre. Not much else to say about the forest only to say that if you are in the area then its worth a stroll.

Beautiful location on banks of the lake, and several different pools, reasonable prices however it can get so busy on summer days in school holidays you can barely see the water! Waterslide for children, snack bar on site, I usually go to a quieter spot on banks of the lake just out of the pool gates whilst kids stay inside.

The wine trail between Sierre and Salgesch is an educational family walk that is accessible free of charge. Waymarked and easily accessed all the year round, the wine trail runs along quiet tracks, passing by the wine-growers’ homes, through vineyards and the impressive Gorges de la Raspille, a site of outstanding natural beauty. 80 information boards are placed at intervals along the trail.

A scenic walk from Salgesch to Sierre through vineyards and beautiful nature. It´s definitifely worth doing if you´re in the area - also great with children.

Petite piscine municipale avec bassin de natation, petit bassin pour enfant et espace bien être (sauna, hammam, jacuzzi). Ouvert généralement l après midi et le soir. mais regarder les horaires. Facile d accès et très propre. Ferme en été.

La cave des Bernunes est tenue par M.Zufferey (nom très rare dans la région). Les vins qu’il propose sortent de l’ordinaire par la manière de traiter les cépages (mousseux de Muscat), leur originalité (Gewurztraminer) et leur qualité (suis tombé amoureux de l’Humagne).
La cave dispose d’un espace gourmand dans lequel il est possible d’assister à des événements ou des Concerts. Il est même possible de louer l’endroit pour y organiser nos propres événements.
Nous y sommes allés pour un concert d’un groupe de « cover ». Une ambiance magnifique, un cadre inoubliable. Je ne sais pas ce qui nous a retenu le plus fort : l’excellence des vins ? La musique ? L’endroit ? Le tout ?

Come molti altri artisti -pensatori, anime irrequiete, idealisti- elessero la Svizzera a loro patria ideale, , ecc.. anche Rainer Maria Rilke elesse un castello di Crans sur Sierre a sua dimora elettiva,negli ultimi 5 anni della sua breve vita. Sono rmasta malissimo nel vedere una sola recensione di questo museo / fondazione dedicato a Rilke, ma, anche se tanto andrebbe migliorato, dedico questa recensione a un poeta che amo e che tanto mi ha ispirato. E anche se dovesse non essere letta da nessuno, è un tributo ad un grande della letteratura
