I have been on a few Wine Tours over the years .... But never had the Pleasure of an Experience like this! Eric spent a Great amount of time helping my Husband Plan an Anniversary Surprise for me....and was I ever Surprised!
Eric is very Knowledgeable, not only of Wines but also in the processes of making wine. He works hard to tailor the Tour to the Customers wants. The area is Beautiful in scenery - so many wineries but Eric took is to very Friendly and Beautiful establishments with Views of the Mountain and City below.
I must say that I purchased lots of wines but was Happy to hear the winery choices are by just that Choice not any kick backs... That made this Tour even more Spectacular due in part to the Personal attention at each stop-
Wine tastings and extras like Paired Cheeses and standard pretzel- cracker fare were all Wonderful Surprises. Eric was sure to stop at an Amazing Family winery at lunch time- Grat views Tables under umbrellas and Tree Canopies where we indulged in hand made stone oven pizzas...., ......hard to describe something so amazingly Delicious that paired well with the wines for tasting-
( of course we indulged )

We highly recommend Eric and Wineries Express for a relaxing day filled with laughter and Great Conversation- Yakima area is full of Superb Wines-
Even the Sparkling Winery was a treat .,,,, do plan a visit soon to the area and give Wineries Express a call.
Thank you Eric for creating an Amazing Memory for us!

This museum is so much bigger than you would expect. They hold community events, special displays, and even houses a nostalgic ice cream parlor behind the building. The adjoining park is a perfect place to have a moment of play for the restless kids, and a nice family picnic. Definitely a place to visit!

Naches Heights Vineyard

We didn't realize that our tasting fee would be waived with the purchase of a bottle (per the previous review). We decided to go to the tasting room next door (literally the next building over, not next plot of land) while we decided on what we wanted to purchase. Had we known the fee would be waived if we paid all at once, we would have done that.

The tasting room was nicely laid out with three tables with stools. There was a chalk wall so our boys drew. The tasting fee was 3 wines for $4 and you could choose from any wine on their sheet. I didn't count but there were about 8 or so options. The gal rinsed out our glass between tastes. The Can-Can was $14 and the rest ranged from $18 to the low 20s if I remember correctly. For some reason the labels reminded me of the vintage art posters you see in Italian restaurants--punked up.

Their hours were extended until 9pm which was nice. Sunset was at 8:45pm so I suppose you could walk the trail toward Cowiche Canyon and watch the sunset.

Great setup here! Lots of fresh fruit, veggies, baked goods, and home made bath/beauty products. We got a huge sack full, plus a few amazing cookies, and were shocked it was only $13! We didn't get to pick fruit because nothing was available, but we were able to stroll through the orchard and it was beautiful. The staff was friendly, helpful, and answered all of our questions. This is a definite weekly trip for us.

Let me preface this review by stating that I was horribly (HORRIBLY) hungover when I visited this brewery over Labor Day weekend.

After a super, fun-filled, all-American Labor Day weekend road trip from Seattle to Yakima accompanied by shooting at an indoor gun range (also Yakima) and a $125 speeding ticket (also Yakima), we stopped at Bale Breaker. I was mildly annoyed, mainly because of the speeding ticket, but also because I discovered I'm a terrible shot. Dashed as my dreams were, I forged ahead...

We enter the brewery doors from the extravagant parking lot (there must be AT LEAST 50 spaces). We're greeted by plaid-wearing, bearded men. They're the coolest kind. I don't order a beer, but they don't mock me and they point me to the direction of the water cooler. My friends both order different beers, which I don't taste just in case my hangover decides to react unfavorably to alcohol (again...). They swear they are amazing. One of my friends who frequents Yakima and the brewery twice a year explains to me that they have the best pretzels. She proceeds to buy two bags of pretzels to give as wedding gifts to her best friend back in NY (who is apparently OBSESSED with these damn pretzels).

Now, there's two things that I love to eat when I'm hungover: cereal and dry pretzels. I had already eaten half a box of Crispix in the car, so I'm excited to move onto pretzels. She brings over a bowl (which are free, by the way, because Bale Breaker is the most amazing brewery in the world). I pop one in my mouth. They taste like heaven on a crap day. They have this flavored dust all over them, which I assumed was a Ranch-like dust. I eat the entire bowl. We take some to-go. I contemplate breaking into the wedding gifts as I lay down and rest in the back seat of the car. I don't, but I want to.

Long story short... GO TO THIS DANG NAB BREWERY.
