The Mediterranean Botanical Garden and the Coastal Biotopo of San Salvo Marina are south boundary of a Regional Natural Reserve instituted in 2007 to protect the rare dune ecosystems existing along the italian coasts. The diamond point of the Reserve is the Mediterranean Botanical Garden. It is large 8 hectares with tipical plants of the Mediterranean basin. Thanks a lot of kind of plants, two ponds and a river, in the Garden it's possible to do birdwatching.
