Giardino Botanico Gavinell

Reviewed By Casalina2013 - London, United Kingdom

My son and daughter in law chose Gavinell as the location for their wedding celebration in July 13. Although we live in London, the whole process was relatively straightforward and the day itself was absolutely brilliant. Luciano and family were very accomodating and the chef, Andrea was excellent. The staff were professional and polite and our guests were very impressed with the quality of food and the beautiful surroundings. I would not hesitate to recommend Gavinell as a wedding venue.

My husband had his first pedicure at the Centro Benessere - and thoroughly enjoyed it.
While I waited I enjoyed a calm time in the Bar with a book and a coffee. The building itself is well worth a visit with its beautiful art on the walls inside and out. There are guided tours, but not on the day we were there.

Along our wine tasting he had prepared bread with olive oil and parmesan cheese too.....delicious! The wines were really good and very good value to buy. We hope to get some shipped over to the UK.

Parco Mazzini

Reviewed By Roberto G - Reggio Emilia, Italy

The Palazzo Congressi is somewhere else and looks completely different. It is a beautiful, but run down Building (like most in Salsomaggiore), is serves for several purposes and only the interior is well maintained. Worthwhile visiting.
