Salado (/səˈleɪdoʊ/ sə-LAY-doh) is a village in Bell County, Texas, United States. Salado was first incorporated in 1867 for the sole purpose of building a bridge across Salado Creek. In 2000, the citizens of Salado voted in favor of reincorporation, before which it was a census-designated place. The population of the village was 2,126 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Killeen–Temple–Fort Hood Metropolitan Statistical Area.

Salado Glassworks is a glassblowing studio and gallery that specializes in custom hand blown glass. There's always a seat by the fire for you to witness owner and artist Gail Allard shape art installations, sculptures, signature vessels or custom lighting options. The gallery also features custom hand blown glass drinkware, gifts and decor. Family friendly "Blow Your Own" events offer the chance experience and interact with the art of glassblowing firsthand. FSG Fine Jewelry

We are a working jewelry studio with 2 silversmiths, working in silver, gold & gemstones in our own designs. We feature necklaces with our special clasps that we make here. Salado Winery Company is a delightful little family owned wine creating business located in the Village of Salado, Texas. Started in 2005 by June Ritterbusch, the winemaker, winerymom and winerybosslady is usually in charge, but sometimes her husband, little boy, and #winerycat have their turn too. Together they produce wine from the grapes they grew in their own vineyard located south of Salado, and also vineyards throughout Bell County. Their labels feature Texas animals and they are especially known for their unoaked chardonnay named "Night Flight". Stop by for a tasting, 5 tastes $5
