ヨーロッパの城郭都市を模して構造する過程で、歴史に覆されたようです。五稜郭の石塁と三稜(星形のとがったところ)のお堀がみられます。その遺跡内に小学校の校舎があり、実際に子どもたちが学んでいます。お堀の途切れた先にプールもある珍しい光景です。

名前につられて、お参りに行きました。駐車場も無料。優しいお顔のお地蔵様の頭をなでると、ぴんころのご利益があるそうな。近くのおきな堂さんの「ぴんころ最中」を買って帰りました。

明治初期に建てられた擬洋風建築の学校で国の重要文化財に指定されています。アメリカへ渡航したことのある大工さんが建てたものだそうです。有料で公開されていて、内部を見学できます。
管理棟で料金を払いビデオを見た後、学校の中に入りました。木でできた教室は落ち着きます。今の学校の教室に比べるとやや狭く感じました。二階の廊下の端にあるステンドグラスは円を分割した単純なデザインの物なのですが、とても綺麗でした。管理棟の隣に資料室もありましたが、時間がなく見れませんでした。
学校の脇に大きな藤がありますので、５月頃にはすばらしい景色だと思います。

これから鯉料理を食べに行くので、トイレ休憩なので美味しそうでも買い食いはしませんでした。天気も良く浅間山の頂からは黒っぽい煙も出ていた気がします。中庭では、こどもの日に因んで、大きな鯉たちがいっぱい泳いでいました。

佐久の総社と言われているだけあって敷地はとても広いです。ここは武田信玄が戦勝祈願し勝利したという由緒ある神社だそうです。境内にある東本殿と三重塔は室町時代に建てられた建物で、重要文化財に指定されているだけあってなかなか見ごたえがありました。

The tower can be seen from a little bit far places and I always wanted to visit for a long time. More than 15 years from the time when I saw the tower for the first time, I finally could reach this fantastic tower with my family.
Right after arriving at the parking lot of this park, you'll see the steps and the rocket shaped tower. The first thing you should do here is to go up the stairways to the base of this Cosmo Tower. The sight around the park is not so special, however, you'll be satisfied with your good job of climbing.
The second thing you can do here is to go up the stairways to the middle of the tower, where is a lookout point. Of course, you can enjoy the great views of Mountains around Saku city here. But there's another joy of climbing to the top observation deck! You may praise yourself for your completion of climbing when you reach the top.
The view from the upper observation deck is awesome! Especially, Mt. Asama should be impressive.
For your information, the parking lot and entrance to the tower are free of charge. There are no escalators nor elevators. Your legs are expected to complete the Mission. There are some slides that children can enjoy.
Just try to see the view from the top of this Cosmo Tower!

お隣の望月宿とかと違って観光化されてません。道は細くうねうねしていて、両側に水路があったりするので車で行くのは要注意です。そのなかで大澤酒造さんはお酒の試飲、販売のほか、美術館・書道感が見学できる観光スポットです。春日温泉の宿からマイクロバスで来ている御一行様もいました。ただＰありとなってますが、重厚な木の門をくぐって中庭に止めるだけなので、乗用車3台もあればいっぱいです。
美術館は地元の愛好家の絵のほか、当主？の力作も展示。書道館は有名な比田井天来の額とかもあって一見の価値ありです。
