This trail runs from north side Rochester across to Lake Orion and paralell with Orion street. Its a well paved road (sand) where running and bicyckling is easy.
When you run from Lake Orion to Rochester, walk through Rochester and connect to Clinton River Trail. This brings you west to Auburn Hills and beyond.

One of the best State parks in Southern Michigan. Has a beautiful lake for boating and swimming. Many hiking trails throughout the park and plenty of parking. The place is so big it never feels over crowded with people. Lots of wildlife roaming the trails area also. Great family place.

An awesome place for food, shopping, people watching & exercise. All the high end designers, anchored by big box stores Neiman Marcus, Saks Fifth Avenue, Macy's & Nordstrom, are here.
The food court blows all other malls out of the water. Just walking around the mall gives you miles of exercise as you window shop & people watch. If you can't find it here, you aren't trying!

Such a wonderful and charming this little baseball stadium!. Fireworks, kids running the bases after every game, low prices for tickets and food/drinks, better-than-expected play from the minor league teams, free parking (by the way, I've seen several reviews elsewhere in which complaints were written about how far the parking is from the stadium, but there is a free shuttle that takes fans from the parking lot to the front door for those who struggle with the walk) and lots of kid activities. Very friendly staff and the owner, Andy Appleby, is always walking around. There is a awesome vendor at the Brooks Craft Beer both (Karen)!
The only small complaints I have are that the first base side walkway is very crowded as there are many food booths there and the walkway is rather small. So those in line at the booths block the pathway and you have to dodge and dart in between everyone. The batter walk up music is very loud when sitting in the seats behind the plate (and this is coming from an old 70s rocker guy).
But you will have fun here!

Constructed between 1926 and 1929, for $4 million, Meadow Brook represents one of the finest examples of Tudor-revival architecture in America. Tours are offered daily. Tour tickets may be purchased in the Museum Store located inside Meadow Brook Hall. Tour reservations are not required. All guests must be accompanied by a tour guide. Saw Bruno Mars here with a group of friends. The acoustics in this place are awesome, and there really doesn't seem to be a bad seat in the house!
My only issue with this spot is the enormous and overwhelming traffic jam in and out of this place at the beginning and end, as it seems that they still haven't yet added additional entrances to alleviate the congestion through the main entrance way.
Otherwise, love the venue and will definitely be back.

Attended a wedding reception in the barn building. It says it seats up to 150 which was the wedding limit. It was very tight with tables and dancing area. Only 1 bathroom for all guests to use. It was quaint and overall wedding was spectacular.

Recently saw Nana's Naughty Nickers with a friend and this production is 5+. The actors, set, costumes, extra stage business, everything was perfect. So professional, polished and entertaining. But Meadowbrook MUST do something about the lack of parking. It took nearly 30 minutes to find a spot a half mile away. That is totally unacceptable. It's a good thing we left early or we would have been late for the performance
