Robina Town Centre.
From bowling and movies to shopping for style to enjoying a bite to eat.
Loads of choices to shop always great specials and two completely different eateries to choose from. There’s the centre eatery which contains the family favourites McDonald’s, KFC, Hungry Jacks, Bucking Bull and other ranges to choose from.
The second eatery “The Kitchen” which has a new retro look to it mixed with cultural foods and more healthy choices. Sit back relax and listen to some music on the community piano or they quite often have some lovely buskers playing cover songs and their own written music .
Christmas time they’ve actually got the real Santa to come and take family photos (real beard) at the same prices as other centres. Beautiful Christmas garden which brings the magic alive.
Bathrooms located centre wide and the parents rooms have little play rooms for if you’re needing to have a break and feed your Littlies.

We regularly visit Fleay’s as it’s our favourite local wildlife experience. The shows are informative and interesting, the park is beautifully presented, the staff are knowledgable and friendly and it’s super affordable. Perfect for families with a full timetable of shows. Easy to walk around within an hour or take longer and enjoy the presentations.

Gold Coast Regional Botanic Gardens

Every time I drop into the botanic Gardens for a coffee and contemplation I am amazed at how peaceful it is amongst the hustle and bustle around it. It is really well maintained and peaceful although it can get hectic on the weekends. The coffee shop is great for an unpretentious caffeine fix.
There are places to have a picnic and for the children to run.

Metricon Stadium

I have found this stadium to be a well run, well constructed and well presented show. Comfortable seats with excellent views of the footy. Ample toilets and good quality food/bevvy outlets. There is a friendly and welcoming vibe at Metricon. Probably could provide better information about parking around the stadium. Was difficult being from out of town(and bringing 4 kids to the footy)to chase down clear info. Although the public transport offered is very good. My crew loves a visit to Metricon.

My son had his 10th birthday party at this venue and 2 days prior unfortunately suffered an injury requiring him to wear a moon boot. The staff couldn’t have been more accommodating and helpful. They really went out of their way to make him feel special I only wish I could remember the name of the young kid who hosted our party. We also dealt with staff over the phone who called me back after hours just going above and beyond to help me out. The holiday program is also fantastic as it has small numbers! Never had an issue here but my only recommendation is they should have ice packs easily available. Maybe in a fridge at the front counter. Continues to be a favourite venue and just wish we had once closer to Southport.
