Decided to go and visit this cave on a Sunday afternoon. The lady on the front desk was very polite, spoke good English and explained what we had to do with the hand sets we were given. The cave may be smallish but very interesting and a great experience. The fresh water pools look very inviting and the story behind the caves discovery very fascinating. We easily spent about an hour and fifteen minutes down there. There could have been a bit more lighting here and there, the Health and Safety team would have had a field day. Worth seeing as there are only three of these marine caves in the world.

La verdad que se esta muy agusto en este restaurante chill out. La parte de abajo esta hecha para tomar cervecitas y cafes con los colegas y en la parte de arriba esta el restaurante que es una pasada. Los precios son medios altos pero es que el sitio lo merece. A mi me encata y por eso lo recomiendo.

Yes a short but enjoyable way of walking from Cala de Moral to Rincon de la Victoria, along a rocky coast path. A rarety in this part of the Costa, which for the most part is flat. Originally a railway line, you can just walk through the tunnel which connects the two towns, but far nicer to take the coast path, which is paved and easy for most people.
There are religious icons at both ends of the walk, popular with locals, and huge Beaches both ends. If it is breezy at Cala, it will be sheltered at Rincon. And there are dozens of beach bars in Rincon. I was there today, on both Beaches, and had a short swim. In February! Yes I know. But I am English!!

We had been looking for something unusual to do in Malaga and we found it. After Reading the reviews here we timed our visit so we could have a guided tour. Michaelangelo was extremely knowledgeable and very friendly and obviously passionate about his subject matter. The crypt is stunning ( the skeleton imagery in stark black and white is beautiful, as is the story behind it). We were allowed to take photos as we liked. We thought that was it until we were taken to the tower of Heaven which is a hidden area behind the main altar. It was jaw droppingly beautiful. This small space and short tour is a must see for off the beaten track attractions. The 2€ donation is more than a fair price.

It was Sunday afternoon and we're on the road. We saw a sign "Centro Comercial" and it was a lunch time so we decided to visit this place. There is also "carefour". After having lunch by McDonal's we went to this mall. The main entrance...MoreDejar Solodam: We regret that you could not visit our stores but on Sunday they close all stores, here and in the rest of the shopping centers.We hope to see you soon with all our stores. I come to this church every year for the start of Holy Week, Semana Santa, on Palm Sunday. Semana Santa here begins with a riot of Andalucian colour. The church is so much a part of the celebrations that a bronze statue of one of the penitents known as a 'nazareno' with the cone shaped hood stands at the entrance. It's the church that begins proceedings on Palm Sunday and the one that concludes them on Easter Sunday. It is also one of the major thouroughfares of processions entering and exiting the Plaza de la Constitucion. The processions in Velez-Malaga are among the greatest in Andalucia.
Velez-Malaga has history. It was one of the main cities of the Nasrid kingdom of Granada and its Moorish castle is still evident from the top of the city. It fell to Ferdinand and Isabella in 1487 giving the Castilian armies access to the sea. The church dates from the same year and has a beautiful Mudejar exterior with a clean Gothic interior. The superb tower was added during 1541-1564. Further reforms of the church over the following centuries include the sacristy attributed to Jose Martin de Aldehuela. Aldehuela's portfolio contains the Ronda bullring, the oldest and most beautiful bullring in Spain. It also includes the completion of the famous Puente Nuevo (New Bridge) of Ronda as well as other considerable achievements.
San Juan Bautista is a splendid church with a very Andalucian history and atmosphere. I would personally prefer the interior to be less Gothic and more Mudejar but you can't have everything. It can be visited throughout the year but it is very special during the Easter Holy Week. During this period all the surrounding bars and restaurants will continue to trade throughout the day and into the early hours of the morning as do the processions.

The museum is located in a crefully restored 18th century house, where we can browse through the history of humanity by means of the glass. Opening hours: Tuesday to Sunday, from 11am to 7pm.

This guided tour of an extremely impressive personal collection was enlivened by the owner/guide's excellent stories of his extended European family who, we are given to understand, are sophisticated, eccentric and rich. This was a great fun tour and an unexpected treat. However, the guide speaks excellent, but very rapid and heavily accented English. Our little group included Dutch and Polish guests and I wonder how much they were able to follow along. I didn't see any lift, so I imagine that this is not wheelchair accessible. Probably not a great choice for young kids.

Most golfers who arrive at Malaga immediately go west to the courses around Fuengirola and Marbella. Go east and travel on the autoroute to Rincon and find this golf course next to the motorway. The course is friendly and welcoming and they will do everything possible to make sure you enjoy your round of golf. The course is tight and tricky but enjoyable for all standard of golfers. I have played most of the courses on the Costa del Sol and to be honest this one is very high on the list. The course is very well used and the fairways do show some wear and tear but not enough to detract from a good game, Buggies are allowed on the course which isnt always the case in this part of the world. After the game the club house offers good food and drink at very reasonable prices so have a meal as well as your game. I was very impressed with everything at this course.

Hacía varios años que no venía a esta taberna, y me he quedado un poco sorprendido por algunos comentarios en relación al mal trato de los camareros; hace varios años acudía a menudo y el trato era exquisito; he vuelto años después y me han seguido atendiendo fabulosamente; la carta sigue teniendo unos precios muy razonables y no he notado para nada que la calidad haya bajado; eso sí, noto la carta bastante estancada; la inmensa mayoría de platos son los mismos que se ofrecían hace años; no le vendría mal una actualización; de todas formas se complementa con una pizarra con platos fuera de carta, donde además figuran sus precios, cosa que es raro ver por estos lares. El sitio, muy agradable, con una gran terraza en una plaza peatonal; la atención, como he dicho, muy buena, ordenada y rápida; nos trajeron los platos en el orden exacto en que los pedimos, a pesar de repetir alguna tapa. Además de la carta, que nos ofrece ensaladas, raciones, tostas, patatas, carnes, incluso menú infantil (el pescado está ausente, ya hay una amplia oferta en un gran número de locales de la población), ofrecen un total de treinta tapas a elegir incluidas con la bebida (1,60 € caña más tapa, 2 € tercio de Alhambra más tapa); también surtido de 6 tapas por 7 €. Para tres personas pedimos cuatro bebidas con sus correspondientes tapas, nachos canarios gratinados con queso y mojo picón suave y patatas fritas a las cuatro salsas taberneras. Las tapas muy bien, el pan buenísimo, caliente y crujiente; en cuanto a los nachos, fantásticos, de los mejores que hemos probado nunca; y las patatas, un clásico de este local, tan buenas como siempre, con cuatro salsas, a cual más buena. Todo esto por solo 20 €, salimos hartísimos, ya que los platos eran muy abundantes; creo que no se puede pedir más.

This museum had such a wonderful vibe, a place to stop and reflect. Loved the art work and the huge contrast between the downstairs and upstairs, so interesting, incredible!
The day we visited was lovely and quiet and the museum is free. I would have liked to leave a small donation when I left but could not see a box to leave it.
