On top of the Kanzelwand is a short hike which is wonderful to do with kids: there is a track with all kind of water plays. Great during hot summer!

Although we knew that Breitachklamm is very popular destination we were surprised by number of tourists at the place, although weather that day was not perfect. We didn't have a problem with parking, were able to find place at the parking place directly at the entrance and all visitors behave surprisingly thoughtfully, but still it was not very comfortable. At the other hand the scenery is breathtaking, so I think visiting it was worth it that little discomfort. After visiting the canyon we decided to hike a bit in neighborhood. The trails were almost free of hikers, walking was not very difficult and was very enjoyable. Nature in the area is beautiful.

We had a nice trip up this cable car and were afforded excellent views form the top station. The trip is scenic but the walks available at the top were limited at the time of writing this (late May). There's a viewing 'platform' and a kitschy personal lift down to a lower level. A trip up is a fun thing to do but if you hop on over to the German side of the Allgau there are a number more cable cars to ride (e.g. Nebelhorn, Fellhornbahn) with better trekking available. Recommended but not essential.

The Ifen is a very interestingly formed mountain and there are very popular winter trails reserved for walking. You get a marvelous view and there are restaurants on the mid and the top station. If this is not the only peak to visit at one day consider buying a day ticket which can be cheaper for multiple cable car trips and you do not need to visit a cashier at every location.

Took Kanzelwandbahn up to Bergstation, magnificent views to surrounding snow capped Mountains on a beautiful sunny day. The walk up to the Walser Hammerspitze is a little bit challenging in places but well worth the effort. Awesome views also to the Kleinwalsertal.

Es lohnt sicht, hier anzuhalten, auszusteigen und die Kirche nicht nur von außen im Vorbeifahren kurz wahrzunehmen, sondern in sie hineinzugehen. Vgl. die hier schon wiedergegebenen Fotos!

A very scenic summit which features a cafe and a restaurant. The way upto the top is serviced by gondolas and costs €35 if you aren't skiing. The prices at the restaurant is very reasonable and the views are so good it's worth every penny.

This museum has such a great display of the local history and the staff are very knowledgeable about that history. Would highly recommend this when in town.
