Top 10 Things to do in Riccione, Italy

August 2, 2017 Leonarda Pillsbury

Riccione is sun-soaked and stylish, an ancient Italian settlement with modern, global flair. Located in the heart of the Eastern Riviera, this coastal destination is the perfect place to sip a cocktail while lounging on golden sands. At night, party people spill from the open-air discos onto the beach, creating a surreal sort of everlasting outdoor party. Zip down a slide at a water park, spin it up on a guided cycling tour, or visit the nearby Misano World Circuit racetrack for an unforgettable getaway.

As a massive SIC fan it was a must for me to visit as I was staying in nearby Ravenna.
The lady on the desk as you enter the musuem was very good and expressed that she would help with any questions about Marco.
If you find yourself near Coriano or Rimini or Italy and are a massive MotoGP fan you have to visit.

Marano Beach 135-136

Reviewed By SunnyDay_103 - Reggio Emilia, Italy

This is a typical Riccione beach with beach umbrellas very closed each others with only a little space for your things. The good point is the mini club animation (the staff is very skilfull) and the aquatic park that is in front of the Marano entrance.
Price: 7 euros for a sunbed... average price.

We were really disappointed with quality of the sea. It s not for diving and if you want to swim you must first walk 15-20 m just to get to the spot were you cant touch the ground with your feet. Water isnt clear at all, when you are in shoal and only your feet are under the water, even them you cant see :)
Beach is ok for playing volleyball or just laying on deck chairs under beach umbrella.

It is amazing to know, that in this sea there are turtles, like you can see in this hospital.
You absolutely need to visit this place, I think, the best time is, when they are letting the animals free, but anytime, really.
There is also a kind of museum, where you can see loads of interesting information about the animals.
