Chuck Mathena Center

With a nearly 1,000 seat theatre, state-of-the-art audio and visual capabilities, and stunning architecture, CMC is a one of a kind experience in southern WV. The CMC stage plays host to year-long national touring productions, including off-Broadway theatre and musicals, concerts, comedy, dance, and more. The entire facility is available for rent, and offers diverse space for parties of 10-1000.

This amazing facility provides cultural opportunities for the entire community. Whether visiting for a performance, a meeting, a community gathering, or a visit to view art exhibits, every trip to Chuck Mathena Center is worthwhile. My most recent visit was to take part in a Princeton Rotary event named “Bras for a Cause.” This worthwhile project raises funds, along with providing underclothing for women who are domestic abuse victims and who need resources that the community can provide. The Chuck Mathena Center was beautifully decorated, there were great foods provided, and all in all, it was a wonderful evening.
