RAAF Museum

Reviewed By hapavan - Melbourne, Australia

This museum has fantastic collection of aircrafts; missiles used in figther jets; medals, uniforms, notes and other collections from soldiers with some great stories there.
I went there with my family and both adults and kids loved this place equally. I have got great respect for the team maintaining this collection.
Entry is free. You need to produce ID to enter this facility. Photograpy is only allowed inside the museum.
There is ample car park right in front of the museum. There is a good cafe for coffee lovers. No flights were flying when I went there, but it was good to have a closer look at the runway.
Staff were very friendly and offered a wheelchair for my mother who was struggling to walk and balloons for kids.
Main area of the museum is wheelchair friendly, but there are two hangars which aren't.
We can't explore the area outside the museum, but it looks so green with beautiful trees and lush green grass. We absolutely loved this palce and will go back again soon! Keep your phones full charged to click tons of photos :)

Point Cook Coastal Park

Reviewed By Joseph M - Melbourne, Australia

A quite and tranquil place, close to the city but far enough to find peace in the serine ambient. Take a walk and listen to the breaking waves while walking on the squeeky sand. Enjoy the sunset, meditate and find peace within. The beach is natural and by no means manicured, but that is the beauty of the area. So if you want to get away from it all and don't want to travel lots of kilometers, than this is for you.
