Captain Yiannis One-Day Cruises

Swim and snorkel with us in unique places, like secret caves and isolated Beaches, accessible only by sea. Live the experience, if you are lucky spot the dolphins!

Reviewed By Janet D

My husband and I really enjoyed this boating and swimming experience with Captain Yiannis. The rock formations and clear blue waters out of Piso Livadi were amazing. Even though we are seniors, the swimming was easy. Captain Yiannis provides the snorkel equipment and noodles for your comfort. The BBQ lunch was outstanding. We booked on-line and paid once we joined the ship. This is a must do experience!

There are places you visit where a deep sense of homecoming settles within you the instant your feet touch the ground. The island of Paros is a place where the breathtaking beauty of nature and the open hearts of the people who inhabit it come together. And this bar is another place on the island that seems to have been touched by this very special magic wand, providing an amazing space created by artist, collector and owner passionate and fabulously knowledgable about music ranging from classical and jazz to pop and rock. The drinks are excellent and worthy of any urban hot spot in the world, but at the end of the day, it is the beauty of the place by the small fishing port, the music and the kindness and fun of the people around you, that will let you catch a glimpse of paradise on a warm, starry night. A place of which the persian poet and mystic Rumi might well have said: "Sometimes In the house of lovers, the music never stops. The walls are made of songs and the floor dances."

Visited this old church yesterday and were blown away by its original stone charm and beauty. To think this church was originally built in 326 makes it even more amazing. Signs of some old frescos are just visible at the front of the church as well. Entry is free so make sure you leave a few coins in appreciation.

This beach is unusual in that it is close to the more known Molos beach, but completely secluded between rocky hills just over the side. This place is visited by locals with family and friends, and provides enough shadow for a hot day as well as safe water entry for children. Amazing sunset and sunrise views. Of interest to nature enthusiasts - go to the rocks to chip off red clay, wet it in sea water and apply to the whole body!

I hired a bike for a month from Vicky and Nick last summer, it came with everything i needed including helmet, spare inner tubes, and maps of the island, Vicky was a font of knowledge on where to go and things to see, Paros is fabulous and cycling is a great way to see it.
I'll be back there this summer and will definitely be hiring from the guys again, I would certainly recommend using them.

Its a little bit ironic writing a review about this once secret gem of Naoussa in this huge base site but as long as it exists i am .A totally pure cycladic unspoiled beach from the past.Nudism is a must and nude walks too.Keep in mind that there are mostly couples situation, both straight and gay.Its a 15 minute walk from the little chapel. Please if you visit this place respect it! Dont litter!
