We were attracted by the Lancaster they parked in front of the museum on the weekends. The fee entrance is by donation. There are lots to read about wars, bombers, local soldiers and their duty in the wars and how they created the museum. Also, inside you will find air planes and the the start of the museum: The Lancaster. On the weekends you can go inside the Lancaster. Worth a visit!

Anytime can be ice cream time, but on a hot summer day it's even better! In honour of Canada's 150th birthday, we just had to try the Canadian Moose flavour and it was delicious. One of our favourites is the mint chocolate chip and it was excellent, as expected. However, looking into the freezer with all the containers of the many different flavours that the Nanton Ice Cream shop sells, the one that caught our eye was the 'garbage can' flavour. A mixture of so many colours! ... Next time, we'll be braver and try that one!
Just be prepared to pay for all that yummy goodness. They sell by the scoop, charge extra for the container or the type of cone you want to have it in. So, it adds up quickly and is not cheap. Howeve, the waffle cone was incredibly fresh and very tasty. The smell of the waffles cooking will probably lure you in...

Interesting stop that is really quite surprising.
Didn't have alot of expectations for what it would be like and what I would take away from it but very pleasant and worthwhile endeavor.
Well presented and informative.
Not sure that anyone will be disappointed and think everyone will learn at least something new.

Wow! Not many people put that much work into their jobs! These hosts really love their attraction. Kids liked it and wanted to stay longer. Easy attraction, no crowds. Four of us rode the little train! So neat!
CLOSING in October 2015 so hurry up and go see!!!!!!!!!!

As a self-proclaimed vintage junkie, I LOVED this antiques store. I could have spent a fortune (if I had it!). It was a bit pricey, but the selection was huge and amazing. I could have spent hours in there, just browsing the various rooms.Thank you so much for coming in and for the great feedback!

We love going to Chain Lakes. In the winter we go for ice-fishing, in the summer we love to walk around the lake, camp and the kids love the play ground.

I've been golfing here since it was a 9 hole course as a kid, and seen it evolve to a wonderful 18 hole course. The Pro-Manager Mike is great and very professional. the staff in the Pro Shop are courteous and helpful.
The Clubhouse is outdated but the food and Staff are fun and engaging. The outdoor deck is a nice way to relax and have a cold one!
The course is great shape thanks to Mike Kroenig...he does an amazing job with limited funds.
A great course for the dollar!!

Our little guy is in looooove with Thomas and we had heard about this little place to stop to see and ride trains. It was an all afternoon excursion!!! There are two areas set up just for kids to play with trains and then a whole town set up (just for watching). Plus the train ride! We went 3 times and it was only $2 a ride! It was hours of entertainment!! We will definetly be stoppin again. :)
