King Krishnachandra, better known as Maharaj Krishnachandra, was the ruler of Krishnanagar. His palace is called as the Rajbari Krishnanagar. Although currently the huge gate of the Rajbari is in a very dilapidated state but the main palace is being used by the defence staff & hence maintained well.
