The temple is located on the territory of the former fortress. It's architecturally unusual church in the russian gothic style. Inside the temple there is a statue of St. Nicholas, that is not traditional too. The church has a small free museum. It is not completely impeccably renovated after the war.

Mozhaysk Luzhetsk Ferapontov Monastery

It's the small monastery without monks. It has good-looking church and old-style bell tower. The monastery is located on the high bank of the Moscow River. Monastery's founder was St.Ferapont, who was the abbot of the monastery in Beloozersk in Vologda region (UNESCO attraction). St.Ferapont's relics are in the monastery church.
In nearby village Isavitsy is a holy spring. Holy spring is more popular with locals than the monastery.
Under the monastery, you can swim in the river.

Sacred Spring of Therapont

The spring is located in the village Isavitsy. It is very popular with locals and local tourist. The spring, I think, is the powerful artesian well, before there was the water well that digged St. Therapont.
On the holy spring ground, there is the cold bath with not very fresh water, sculpture of the praying monk, wooden chapel, kiosk that sells pies and tea.
In village Isavitsy you can also visit to the pedestrian bridge over the Moscow river. From this spot is offering beautiful view to the monastery.
