Moon Township is a township along the Ohio River in Allegheny County, Pennsylvania, United States. Moon is a part of the Pittsburgh Metro Area and is located 12 miles (19 km) northwest of Pittsburgh. The origin of its name is unknown; a few historians suggest it was derived from a crescent-shaped bend in the river. The population was 24,185 at the 2010 census.

Wow! I am ready to move to Sewickley just be able to be close to such a incredible theater. When you walk into the theater you welcomed with feeling like you are coming into a friend's home. The entrance area and snacks appealing and service rapid - stroll into one of the intimate incredibly comfortable theaters. Seats cushioned and spacious. The acoustics are amazing. You are not blasted with uncomfortable noise like so many theaters have. Picture quality superb.
We have been to Tull theater 4 times so far. So spoiled to be enjoy a movie and walk through the village have dinner at one of their many restaurants.
Definitely FIVE star evenings!

I wasn't sure what to expect in visiting the West Hills Escape Room in Coraopolis. This would be my 14th escape room visit, and as it turns out, I was pleasantly surprised! It's a generation 1 room, with padlocks, keys, and numerical codes needed to make your escape. What I found was a pretty well designed room, with good flow, and very few red herrings/dead ends. If there's one thing that I hate with escape rooms, it's working on something that leads to nowhere.
I would say that out of all of my escape room ventures, this one forced groups to work as a team more than any other escape room I've seen. That can be good and bad. With a small group (4-5 players) it's excellent. A larger group can perhaps prove problematic. The staff was incredibly pleasant to be around, and very helpful throughout the hour. And not to spoil anything, but if you're a fan of Who Wants to be a Millionaire, man are you in for a treat!
We did run into a technical snag with our game that wasn't really our fault, and would've been really cool to see the result in the actual gameplay itself, but overall, this was an excellent time. And we only needed to travel 20 minutes to get there from Robinson!
I was very pleased with WHER and I am looking forward to what they can come up with in the future.

Large mall with plenty of free parking. Clean, safe shopping. Anchor stores are Macy's, JCPenney and Sears. There's also a large Dick's Sporting Goods store. Food court is ok, but nothing very exciting: Auntie Anne's, Charley's, ChinaMax, Subway, Starbucks, Villa Italian Kitchen, DQ and Chick-fil-a plus maybe a couple more small shops. Bathrooms are clean and well-supplied.

I've been to many many Arcades over the years. I'm also pretty obsessed with emulating classic Arcade games through MAME and other programs. Wherever you go you see the same old arcade games among a couple of rarities here and there. As a result, I've grown tired of spending money on Arcade games and have been opting for Pinball Galleries instead.
I'll get to the pinball, but this Arcade had the best collection I've ever seen. I couldn't believe it when I saw Warrior by Vectorbeam and Boot Hill and Dog Patch by Midway. They even had Death Race, which is so old it doesn't even use a ROM image. They also had several sit down cabinets (including Fire Truck, a really old co-op classic). The huge array of analogue shooting games were also amazing. Such old technology. I could have spent 4 hours playing arcade games alone, but we had a time limit, so I only spent 2 hours playing them. Then came the pinball...
Out of the many pinball galleries I've been to I've only seen one Atari Pinball game. This place had at least three. They're not remotely fun to play, but you do get to experience them here. They also had several multi-level pinball tables. Black Hole and Haunted House were there, but there was also The Spirit, which I wasn't familiar with and had never played before. They also had Hyperball and the 2-player versus Joust Pinball, which I had always wanted to play. They also had an impressive array of electro-mechanicals, though I have to say the Silver Ball Museum in Asbury Park New Jersey still has them beat in that department. Of note was also Bally's Spectrum, a fast-paced table I had never seen before, and my all-time favorite Cleopatra.
What's more, everything was in excellent condition. I'd say only two machines out of a billion had issues, which is pretty excellent.
The price was nice and the selection was nicer. I'm so incredibly jealous of the people who live in Western PA. The Silver Ball Museum is nice, but this is by far the best Arcade I've ever been to. If I'm ever in Pittsburgh again I know I'm coming here.
I only wish they could locate a couple of Bally Sente Arcade Games (Hat Trick and Off the Wall for example) or some Zaccaria Pinball tables (I've only seen one in person at the Allentown Pinball Expo). Also a Bagatelle Machine or Ice Cold Beer would be nice. The owner seems to be quite the collector, so maybe some day.

Wow, Sky Zone Leetsdale is an action-packed blast for young and old! They have many trampolines and supervised fun the young! They also make so that the little ones are on their own supervised trampoline and the teens and etcetera are in different areas! Sky Zone Leetsdale exceeded my expectations!

Blue Star Museum
Purchase tickets at Visitor's Center. Gift shop. Movie. Museum. Toilets.
We left our picnic lunch in the lobby while we viewed the movie and museum. Once those were done, we collected our picnic and walked 2-3 blocks to the lovely picnic area. Shaded, with plenty of picnic benches, trash cans, and handicapped toilets. Overlooking the gardens.
While we visited in the summer, it was a weekday and we had much of the museum to our selves. Plenty of room the gardens for kids to run, but organized enough that they shouldn't be wild. My children loved the sensitive plant, one simply puffed at it and half the leaves closed! others stroked it gently and the leaves also closed.
I noted the thatched roof on the out building beyond the gardens.
We toured a few buildings, the kids were less interested in this. Many of the furnishings were Victorian.
It was interesting to hear the main clock only had a hour hand since the group minded the hours, and let God direct the minutes (details) of their lives.

After reading about this establishment on TripAdvisor we felt compelled to visit and we were absolutely delighted we chose to do so. The building is unassuming but step inside and I felt transported to a different world. There were bikes everywhere, of every description and vintage. The ether smelled of bikes. My memory was taken back to my childhood and cycling in the hills with my pals on their Raleigh Choppers. Over 3000 bicycles crammed into every nook and cranny. I felt the passion of the person who had amassed this wonderful collection. What a place, what fun, what nostalgia.

We went for Mother's Day, but did not participate in the brunch that they had. We were there later in the afternoon and had a very pleasant walk. The dogwoods and daffodils had already bloomed, I'm sure they were pretty. There were some tulips still...MoreHi Nancy, Thank you for taking the time to write this review! This is a great place to get those gifts for those that have everything! Great old time candy, and some new stuff too! Sometimes hard to catch them open, but worth the wait!Thanks Judy, we really appreciate the compliments! We're here Tuesday thru Saturday 10-5 sharp, and late, until 8 pm, on Wednesday evenings. We're only closed on Sundays and Monday.
