I was surprised by the less than favorable reviews as we loved this villa. It has retained its support buildings and its setting on the canal and the interiors are simple and beautiful. The grounds are not in pristine condition but i cannot imagine the cost of maintaining the structures themselves. The front and rear elevations are each different and stately and tge contrast of colors on the main facade are striking.
I do not recommmend this for those with physical challenges as the stairs are steep and there is no handrail.

Would you like to discover a different part of Venice?Do you like to try new food?So this is the tour in Italy for you.You can eat your way through some traditional and delicious cicchetti (Venetian Style tapas) and taste some nice Prosecco wine or try a Spritz and at the same time you will discover some fantastic and incredible tales about the Serenissima Repubblica di Venezia.During the tour we will stop in two or three of the best Osterie in Venice (according to time), where we will sit down and try their delicious food and their special wines. And while you are tasting the typical Venetian food cicchetti, I will entertain you by telling you some ghost and horror stories about the people who used to live in Venice.
There were 4 of us for Monica's Cicchetti Tour. We had a blast, walking with a true Venetian through streets and Neighborhoods featuring an outstanding array of food and wine. Venetians eat these appetizers in the early evening, standing up while drinking local wine. Monica made interesting selections for us, even including gelato. She's tops in this business, so don't hesitate to book with her. It was our favorite activity in Venice.

Shopping Center in Venice Area with 120 Shops and 15 Bar & Resturants. On Friday evening Nave de Vero hosts free entrance cabaret shows & Concerts. On July Nave de Vero hosts a Jazz Festival with international artists.
This mall is easy to access from Venice, we took the #6 bus from the bus station and then got off at Bottengia, switched to a tram until the 2nd to last stop. Then walked about 10-15 minutes to get to the mall. The mall is very new with Zara, Pull & Bear, Intimissi and many others. We were about tired and didn't want to track back with all our bags onto the bus so we went to the info desk. They suggested taking a taxi to the train station and taking a 5/10 minute train back to Venice.

ARTISAN laboratory for the production of chocolates, and ICE CREAM PARFAIT.
The cakes with choklate and icecream or semifredo is to die for. And they are also so beatyfull like little artwork. They have homemade pralins in al the tastes you can imagine. You can also buy plane choklate like dark 100 procent choklate from Venezuela...MoreE' mio piacere far sorridere le persone che ci vengono a trovare. Grazie! Giorgio

Amazing Villa immersed in a green garden, Villa Valier has gorgeous Renaissance Affreschi and a lot of stories around its foundation.
Very close to Venice, it has a fantastic staff and they organize concert and apertifs in villa.
I suggest to visit the Villa all seasons.

This is a nice ancillary visit while in the Vo’ area. Villa Contarini Giovanelli-Venier is set in the center of the borough of Vo’ Vecchio, the ancient municipal seat, that later became a hamlet of the municipality of Vo’ Euganeo. The building of the villa likely dates back to the end of 16th century, with changes and additions carried out in the following centuries. In its original design, the main body of the structure re-proposed the courtly image of the Venetian palace. As a matter of fact, the edifice has a tripartite square plan with superimposed central halls. In the nineteenth century, the property passed to the family Giovanelli-Venier which undertook works of major renovation and modernization, changing the orientation of the main façade. This latter was moved from the side facing the square to the southern side, in front of the barchessas (a barchessa is a porticoed structure with round arches, used as shed). The interior also underwent a radical reorganization and the gorgeous half spiral staircase (still existing) was built to connect the different floors of the edifice. The outside space has maintained its original baroque setting: the double-flight staircase opens in a semicircle facing the courtyard, where two massive lateral “barchessas” are set in diverging position. Together with the boundary walls, rounded at the bottom of the garden, they create a peculiar "drop" shape.
Stop by for few minutes if you’re in the area.

My second visit here over the years.
This is an osteria that dates back to the 1500s and does its best to keep the interior looking like it was back then!
There is also Seating out the back next to the water mill (hence the name, "mulino" in Italian) which is covered in winter.
On the Brenta river.
Friendly, professional service.
Popular with locals, so the prices aren't a rip-off. One huge plate of different sliced meats & cheeses + one huge tuna & mozzarella salad + a bottle of mineral water + a glass of wine = around €30.
It's not a classy restaurant, more pub grub, but in Italy even pub grub is excellent!

The core business consists in bike renting for adults, children including tandems and accessories. We organize biking tours and suggest the best itineraries for enjoying the splendid centenary mansions along the splendid Riviera del Brenta Land. We also manage bike selling, repairing and guarding.
We rented bikes and cycled along the riviera del brenta to Fusina, left our bikes at the car park and took the hourly ferry to Venice. It arrives in a central location, tickets cost €13 return and takes 25 minutes. The cycle ride is only about 10 km, a leisurely hour. There is a very quiet path most of the way and only a quiet road. It would be suitable for families with older children. The bike shop were very kind and helpful.
