Take advantage of the slow current and travel upriver into beautiful Proud Lake State Recreation Area or go down river through the quaint town of Milford and into Kensington Metropark.

This park is awesome! Has a plentiful amount of nature trails for hiking where you can feed Chipmunks and birds, though you cannot feed the Sandhill Cranes. They have great places for kids like the splash pad, water slide, and two different swimming beaches. There are great solo activities like kayaking and canoeing. So far we've went to this park every weekend since July, and I highly reccomend it for locals and visitors.

Mystic Creek Golf Courses offer a superb golfing experience for any level of golfer. The three courses are very scenic, some challenging holes but all very interesting. For a municipal golf facility, Mystic Creek ranks as one of the best I've seen and I have seen many across the entire country. The staff was courteous, professional and quite helpful. A great snack bar is also available. No reservations in this recommendation. For a public course, it is amazing!
