Really interesting area that we explored on foot walking from town to town. Finding the small roads sometimes involved using the big ones which is a bit perilous. However once on the small roads really interesting farm houses views and paths. Bring your bike, we will next time!

This was a very pleasant surprise. The visit was part of our tour. We had already seen a fair number of churches and needed something different. This museum was just what we wanted.
It is free to enter and realistically takes about 30 minutes to go round. It consists of a series of large rooms connected at one end by a series of doorways. You therefore enter one room and leave to go into the next without a separate corridor. This gives an impression of being drawn into the building and at the same time eagerly awaiting what lies next door.
On the walls of each room are a series of paintings, some very large, and most depicting biblical scenes. There are fortunately good explanatory notes in English which help you to appreciate the whole display.
This is well worth a visit.

Surprisingly underrated town that is well worth a visit and is ideal for a relaxed urban stroll. We really liked this place (after Alberobello, which is overrun and a bit hectic). It's effortlessly inviting -- perhaps slightly more patrician than its neighbours, but nice. Good restaurants too!

This is a very slick operation and definitely worth a visit. We were impressed with the hospitality shown at cellar door, the well-made, fruit-driven wines and the delicious selection of nibbles offered as well. A very enthusiastic and capable team made us feel most welcome! We ordered wines and, as we were travelling at the time, requested a delayed Delivery to Australia. Our wines arrived intact and on schedule and are still being savoured and enjoyed.

Stopped here last week on our way from Locorotondo to Ostuni for a little walk around and a bite of lunch.
With its pretty winding streets (rather like Locorotondo) white-washed houses adorned with colourful flowers, peaceful square and pretty churches - it is well worth an hour of your time to wander round if you're passing through.

This area is lovely to walk around and will take around 15 minutes to drive to from the town of Martina Franca. Various trails are marked and it is lovely and leafy. We have been here many times and never found the car park full. Nearby are picnic tables and chairs made out of wood under the tall trees. Great in summer to get some shade from the sun.
